Job well done! If only we sponsored this kind of people instead of 'mat rempit' to do the jump...

Ticket to Heathrow = 10cents Karipap = 30cents maggi = RM2.50 I used to get RM4 for pocket money to school...if Air Asia X exists back then, could have covered my returned flight to Heathrow...how nice...can ponteng skolah...hehe...

I don't know about engineering calculation but I can guarantee you, during single engine flight, the power available is not even half of both engine...
-
It's the 'most logical thing to do'! hehe... 1 million divided by 500k seats = 2 seats...Unfortunately occupied by the pilots...hehe

The student rest room beside the cafeteria is 5X bigger than the old one. But nothing compares to langkawi for sure! You guys are very lucky indeed!
-
Ian, did you get the chance to enjoy the old student rest room beside the instructor's cabin?
-
Not a chance... And yet they still dare talking about 'transparent government'...

If they concentrate on FAX ops instead of Air Asia X, there shouldn't be any major problem. but it's okay...if there's any problem, just give it to Firefly@MAS! Problem solved!

Good 1 ewan! hihi...damn funny ! as usual, we must have more fokker 50 elements as the foundation, just like doraemon and his 'pintu suka hati' and 'kipas terbang'! Last time your colleague ask u about air fare...i wonder what they ask now?

If I recall correctly, this callsign belongs to the airforce and normally used for the C402.

Nation Saturday April 14, 2007 FAX aircraft tyre bursts after landing in Mulu MULU: A Fly Asian Xpress (FAX) Fokker F50 aircraft which carried Miri police chief Asst Comm Abang Abdillah Othman and several members of the media caused a scare when one of its tyres burst after landing at the airport here yesterday. However, no casualty was reported in the incident that occurred at about 2.10pm. The aircraft had earlier taken off at 1.40pm from Miri airport with just over 20 passengers. An explosion was heard when the aircraft made a turn upon landing. A FAX staff member at the airport said it could have been worse if the tyre had exploded at the time of landing. It is learnt that the airline sent a smaller aircraft for passengers returning to Miri. – Bernama Source:http://www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2007/4/14/nation/17442046&sec=nation

Nice crew room! The last picture looks like a FS scenery! What's the training session consist of? Do you fly to different airport to do touch n go for endorsement? Or is it including route qualification as well? -

Awesome! more please Pieter! So jealous...MH F-50 dont have LNAV capability F-50 treated nicely over there! -
I can imagine doing the walkaround...hmm...hehe

Training is cheaper. When you come back, you have to do conversion which will cost you around 50K(that was in 2004) and also can take up to 1 year. Add up with living cost and time, it's more expensive. Unless you want to have a degree in aviation, might as well do it at local flying school. Flying Academy in Kota Bharu offering diploma in aviation. It's not as smooth as you think it will be. Back to the topic.... Under the vacancies, seems like they don't have anyone at the academy yet...!

Six pilots in the simulator, all six get their cert after 70 hours of sharing sim training? How can they let these people fly for the next 3 months? Crazy!
-
Damn!....when are they flying again?gotta go spotting la like this...!
-
Thanks Gav! Really sweet especially MGI!

Do Airlines in Asia reconigze a JAA licemse?
Khaled replied to Prashant K's topic in General Aviation
Malaysian DCA dont recognise any license from outside the country unless you do the conversion course. Chances of getting a job anywhere else is always low if you're an expat with no hours. -
If the airspeed exceeds the flap max extension speed, then the flap relief valve will prevent it from extending further. I've came across a few airport when there's strong wind but they reported as wind calm. I personally think that the ATC in Indonesia play some part in the unstabilized approach. In the end it is up to the flight crew to decide. Lets wait for the FDR...
