Hi Peter. I think SV9351 was a one-off; possibly Umra flight? I got the info from MIR's posts # 14 & 15 above. MIR, The Voyager must have left just after I did. I was at the airport until 11.20am. The aircraft didn't seem to be going anywhere then. I should have waited a little longer to catch the take-off. I did manage to get one shot of it parked near the MAS cargo area. 20130324-IMG_0748 by Janner88, on Flickr Parked in front of the tower was the Italian AF KC767A, 62226, that brought the Typhoons from Leuchars. Raymund, if you mean the C130J, it was an RAAF aircraft, A97-447. Nearly missed it as it took off from Rwy 18 when everyone else was using 36. Iwan, thanks. I can't get to LIMA this year. Hope its a good show.

It is a pity that local authorities do not use spotters as a potential source of information. After all, we are around airports/airfields quite a bit and know what should, and more importantly, what should not, be happening. Pretty sure that they do operate daily into and out of PEN. Have occasionally seen two on the ground at the same time.

Nice shots. Good catch on the new Air HK aircraft. I'm still not sure about the new AA colour scheme.

Thanks MIR. Quite often in the mornings the FedEx A300s park in that spot before being moved elsewhere. Must get down and catch that MASCargo 330 soon.

First visit to PEN yesterday, albeit a short one. Sat just off the approach to Rwy 04 as usual to see two Air Asia 320s lining up for a Rwy 22 departure. There is now new fencing inside the old fence at the bus stop. The new wire is about 2 feet higher and standing on the pipe, or rock, will not really get good shots anymore.
