Yusoff, MIR, good photos! I woke up early this morning and had nothing to do so decided to set off early to the airport to try the new lens. Arrivals on Rwy04 first. Tried close-ups and long shots as an experiment. Liam, many thanks for the 'heads up'. Managed to catch SSA on approach. Landing time was 14.25 by my watch. Nearly went home before she arrived! Weather wasn't too good either. Guys, I have a question relating to a photo that I took at PEN on 11 April 2006. There was an Antonov AN-124-100 parked on a taxiway in front of the tower. I only had a Canon Powershot A75 point and shoot camera then, hence the poor quality. Does anyone know what the reg of this aircraft was or the reason for its visit to PEN? Any help appreciated. Caught this formation of four F18s from Butterworth out of the window of my apartment at Batu Ferrighi yesterday afternoon. There was a fifth F18 about 200 yds behind the formation. Maybe acting as camera ship? IMG_1940 by Janner88, on Flickr

MIR, thanks. Tornados would be nice. Will have to keep the eyes open over the next few weeks. I see on another forum that the RAAF's first A330 tanker is scheduled for delivery within the next few weeks. Would be a nice catch if that comes through here.

My first posting on this forum having only recently joined. Saw 4 F/A 18s with what looked to be long range tanks over the Batu Ferringhi area earlier this afternoon. Managed to snap the last before he disappeared behind my building. Sorry for the poor image quality.
