I'm just a bit confused because we let go of MH A330-300 and -200s a few years back and now we're on the market for some 2nd hands a330s.

Flying to SZB from KBR this June... can't wait to sample OD's service on this type and route. But SZB route from KBR is known for its notorious delays. Especially of the afternoon flights. Seen 3 OD ATR take off within 10min of each other from KBR to SZB.

Apparently now it's ok to check in more than 2 luggage as long as it's within the weight limit..thank God

The app is just annoying these past few weeks. I've tried booking BKI-KBR on several instances, it said no flights on such class on the requested date. But there's a lot of cheap seats available when I book BKI-KUL and KUL-KBR separately. And credit card payment on the app is just useless.. falling way behind their competitors in these instances. Frustrating that I just use other travel app to book MH flights.. shame.

I cant imagine being inside a narrow body for more than 3hrs. My last 2 visits to Makkah/Jed was on A380 and 777. The 9-10 hrs I cant sleep even on the MH Business Class flatbed. Did a lot of "tours" inside the aircrafts.

Tomorrow i got 2 sectors on OD. Just crossing my fingers it's not on one of those without IFE.

Regarding their partnership with Liverpool FC. Strange that they didnt take advantage of it. There's no sign of the partnership in the aircraft or during any cabin announcement. GA paint an aircraft in LFC theme during their tenure. I remember AK was milking it for all its worth when they partnered MUFC.

Are those the new at72-600s? Guess they overestimated the growth of the airline when they ordered those new fleet. But better store and sell rather then working over underutilised aircrafts. Malindo is a bit aggressive though. Sell to Malindo perhaps? Or to any new startups who dare to dream..

Mid 90s MH 60 always operated by 734. I'm sure its around 6am departure as we'll reach the SZB airport around 3-4am. Yes last time there were night tourist fights. YN economy to n fro BKI-KUL was rm600/700 per person. Kind of ticket i will not pay today even on broad daylight flight.add on rm202 to n fro TWU-BKI flight because we were living in Tawau. Due to the YN regulations our flight out of BKI was mh 2601/2603 departing around 4am/5am.

I did take a lot of flights on the MH60. If i'm not mistaken it was an early morning departure from Subang.Arriving BKI at around noon due to the transit at KCH.

I think MTB is suited for business passengers, KLIA2 is more for leisure travellers. Thus PB's plan to use KLIA2 for 'leisure destinations?'. But for me, no matter which airport, I'll always arrive more than 3hrs, sometimes 6hrs before STD due to me being an aviation freak. But it may differ for others.

From a passenger point of view, I prefer KLIA2 instead of MTB, but not the airlines flying from there. So, its up to people's opinion/judgement. What is there at KLIA2 that's not available at MTB? So i think the equalling of PSC is somewhat justifiable.

I thought they already put the ad on for atr crews to be based in sabah long time ago. And nothing came off it since. But ATR ops in Sabah and Sarawak will be a bit of a challenge. Dont think maswings will last if its not for the subsidy.

Going to KBR next week from BKI. Guess what the connecting flight is FY to KBR. My 1st visit to SZB since 1996. Sure a lot to take in. How many options of shuttle bus from KLIA to SZB? Better buy online or is it okay to just buy at the counter?

What's with the trend of new charter airlines in Malaysia? Surely now even the charter market will be saturated? Umrah offered by Super Jumbos of MH, AK with widebody a330, and even Malindo will offer those too. Even Bayu will offer charter umrah services. Don't forget Suasa.
