  1. the COC is not the only legal document binding the airline, it's as far as the relation with the pax however what im questioning is the conduct of MH in terms of having full/accurate disclosure of the service offered to the general public and the manner how things were handled post that unilateral change of seats, MH is also governed under the Malaysian Aviation Consumer Protection Code 2016 for which it is not for anyone other than MAVCOM to decide whether they have complied or breached the same in this situation and again it didnt happen to you or your family so i understand your nonchalant attitude on this and dont make it personal on me as i wasnt the one who brought this up obviously others who have been bumped out are also disappointed with this MISREPRESENTATION if not they wouldnt have brought this issue at the first place
  2. appreciate your amiable comment but cancelling the ticket will also require me to cancel my hotel bookings, car rentals etc.........sorry to say this but i just dont wish them well with this kind of mismanagement
  3. this is a clear misrepresentation and an afterthought by MH, why didnt they just block those seats upfront if they didnt intend to sell it, only now when so many people have bought those tickets, for no other reason but to be in those seats and you simply bump us off to normal J seats?? and please be clear, there's no F class or seat in my flight and those seats were sold as J and as far as im concerned, at the point of purchasing the ticket, have been misrepresented by MH as such. My purchase of the ticket was based on this misrepresentation and dont tell me just to keep quiet and let this pass by and until now i didnt get any clarification on this matter, if you know you are exercising your contractual rights, why is it so hard for you to give some explanation?? and MH knows so well that they have widely advertised to the public to fly on these proving flights to sample their latest plane and their products and by that no inkling whatsoever in the minds of those who had decided to suddenly block those seats that people who had purchased and booked those F seats had no other reason to fly than to get what had been represented and CONFIRMED to them when they booked the ticket?? no kind of misrep or scam should be tolerated as ppl pay good money for the expected products and services and im going to exercise my rights as a consumer by bringing this up to the authority
  4. i didnt ask you to determine my entitlement under the contract and who are you to prevent anyone from lodging a complaint to the authority or even filing a suit in court? i have my arguments and no reason for me to justify it to anyone here, since when were you being appointed as spoke person for MH anyway? pursuant to my rights as a consumer/passenger ive already conveyed my queries through proper channels however no reasonable clarifications were given and you ask me to just sit quietly and act dumb? and i didnt use your money to purchase that ticket so keep your opinion to yourself my flight is to PEN these are the contradictory replies that i got from MH's FB Reply 1: Upon running the investigation, we found that no payment has been made for the preferred seat. If you wish to pre-book the seat, you may contact our call center for further assistant. Reply 2: Hello, XXXXXX. We are sorry to read that you have an unpleasant experience on seat arrangement. We shall escalate the case to related department for further investigation. We will inform you once we have any update. If it's MH's contractual right to re-seat anyone at its discretion why cant MH just be upfront about it and state the actual reason?? i have no other reason to fly on that flight other than to experience the F seats of the A350, the J seat is nothing new to me and will not entice me to purchase the ticket to PEN, place which again i have no other reason to be in other than to join the flight.
  5. mine too and that's the only reason why i want to fly on that flight, i called the customer service and they said that they were also not informed of the reason, sent PM vide FB and got some ridiculous response such as i didnt make any payment for those seats for me this is an afterthought by MH and a clear misrepresentation, im going to lodge a complaint with MAVCOM
  6. precisely, i thought the cover is just a stopgap measure..
  7. quite unnerving to know that and there may be incidences which may not even disclosed to the public
  8. the gomen need to pay compensation money to PLUS for abolishment of 2 toll plazas...where does the rakyat think the money will come from?? when they give some they'll surely take some back or even more....sad truth about malaysia.
  9. nice many informative much awaited pictures here..hope there'll be pics of the first class lavatory
  10. yes nothing is a race but everything must have purpose, we (or at least i) expect first and exclusive photos here instead thousand of them widely available elsewhere i dont see any purpose to read this thread anymore. just saying and feel free to disagree as i dont care
  11. unfortunately MH's A350 webpage isnt 100% functional as believe there should be a feature video on the A350 and the products offered and only 3 pictures showing the 3 classes without any details of the same, kind of lacklustre effort to promote the novelty of this plane i believe and in this Youtube video of the welcoming ceremony you may see the feature video at 18:40 onwards and they made a blunder at 19:00 while featuring business class services with obviously the first class seat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oi2AE_RCt3U
  12. premium economy is the grey coloured seats i believe? apart from extra legroom hopefully other service extras can justify the extra fare imposed
  13. just in time for holiday season, was in the refurbished regional lounge last week, though the new furnishings are nice it feels more cramped now and lacking open spaces
  14. looks smart and it balances the slimmer aft portion of A350 i think, cant wait to test the F seats to PEN during xmas weekend.
  15. ironically this is the first "dump" after PB's departure..LOL
  16. wonder who else willing to fill in the vacancy after this, regret to see his leaving as there are some improvements in terms of services of staffs
  17. AF doesnt have good safety record either, anyway kudos to the pilots for being able to recover the flight and landed it safely!
  18. just expect run-of-the-mill service with MH, based on recent BKK flight, no more peanuts, dessert was just a small kit kat or a piece of no brand cookie and the obligatory "no coffee due to weather" is here to stay. Just noticed that seafood meal that i ordered was the similar dish served for seafood meal in business class that i flew in before, so basically the casserole is the only distinguishing factor. Crew service has improved so credit to the management in uplifting their morale.
  19. whichever aircraft supposedly it should be making money to the airline, it's how the aircraft is being utilized to gain optimum profit now is on MAB's hands. At least now they can claim to fly some of the worlds youngest fleet again and hopefully introduce industry first product in the 787.
  20. and GST will be 10% after that to subsidize the flight...no thanks
