  6. guys guys chill, they probably just misread the chart and descended earlier rather than the specified fix. have u guys even seen OOL VOR app chart? at least they did the right thing by going around. lets not get onto manual vs automation ok?
  7. 1st.....airlines dont want during rough ride, those electronic devices become missile and hit your head.....scared later you sue them. 2nd.....Hard for flight attendants to identify which is Galaxy Tab, which is Ipad, is it on flight mode or not, imagine going thru each and every device for 300 pax..... 3rd.....1 pax use mobile phone fine, 2 ok, how about 300 hp switch on at one time (any effects? anybody's guess). 4..... They want u to use inflight sat phone, untung lah.....

Plane old or not will still skid and have scary landings.....also old a/c can have very nice cabins seats trays etc if the company wants to refurbish them, thus again cabin interior has nothing to do with new or old a/c. The only problem I see with old a/c is maybe higher fuel consumption.....cheers

  11. They could have been confused at that point of time. Yes with certain amount of thrust setting s and pitch angles, one can fly roughly a set speed. But what they went thru was bad weather, plenty of ECAM, dark night and in this weather even with a working pitot, the a/c cant maintain speed accuracy to 1 knot.

  14. Heard over the radio last night MH 370 somewhere over hat yai, Bangkok airspace, had a decomp. Heard the mayday call, any more info on that guys?
  15. maybe airlines should provide real horizontal rest or business class seats to crew members to REALLY rest. honestly, how could one rest properly on a seat like that.
  16. Just make the current terminal more LCCT like, charge carriers cheaper fees, and cheaper tax. In return attract more flights more travellers, tourist (blonde heads if u so wish).....bam bam what a magic. Economics 101. Its not that the current terminal has reached its capacity.......People really like to talk cock

  18. I think its not so much of the inexperience part they are talking here, its the fact that the trainee pilots are sort of paying their own line training and the creation of B scale (financial terms).....Thus, squeezing pilots of money
