  8. Yup, any news from Dienisz a.k.a Sya? Maybe they busy for launching prepration on this 16th March at LTSAS. Keep in touch Silverfly..hehehe
  9. Yup, good marketing idea. Besides Facebook, for those don't have FB account maybe Silverfly should be create own blog space such as MH (http://www.malaysiaairlinesblog.com), FY (http://blog.fireflyz.com.my/) and Airasia (http://blog.airasia.com/) to update their updated information. Silveryfly also can promote their services here in Malaysianwings forum. Thanks.
  10. Hi Yussof, Based on current schedule for March 2010 given by Dienisz previously in here entry http://www.malaysianwings.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=14096&st=20&p=251259entry251259 date and time for IPH-KBR every Sunday IPH(6.40 PM)/KBR(7.50 PM) and KBR-IPH every Thursday KBR(3.45 PM)/IPH(4.55 PM). Flight IPH-KBR will be start on 18 March 2010. I'm also email to silverfly for details total fare SZB-KBR-SZB by yesterday but didn't receive any reply yet.
  11. Good info Dienisz, I'm interested for SZB-KBR route, previously i only have 3 choices airlines (MAS, Firefly, AirAsia) for going back to KB from KL and KL to KB, now i've a new extra choice. Based on schedule given by you, it's SZB-KBR only on Thusday and KBR-SZB on Sunday? May i know estimated price for return ticket SZB-KBR-SZB? It's good if can make it fly SZB-IPH-SZB on 16 March (Tuesday) and spend one day attend Silverfly official launching at LTSAS.
  12. Dienisz, Thanks for details explanation. I think, it's good new route IPH-KBR by Silverfly but i didn't know and heard about route IPH-SZB-IPH before. Maybe one day i must try using Silverfly from SZB-IPH and IPH-KBR. How about pricing? Can u share with us?
  13. According to my friends which working with MAS, route flight to KUL-KBR-KUL always high capacity passengers for domestic. Even when i back to KBR using FY or AK always almost and fully seat. I think because of these scenario, Silverfly look into new route IPH-KBR before they start from KUL-KBR in future or to Sabah and Sarawak soon.
  14. It's Silverfly will became famous third Low Cost Carrier after AirAsia and Firefly. Before Firefly operated, do u guys know about Asmara Air which previously touted as the country’s second low-cost carrier after AirAsia? http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2007/2/27/nation/16983184&sec=nation

  18. MELBOURNE, Dec 28 (Bernama) -- Air traffic controllers have been blamed for a serious near miss involving a Virgin Blue flight from Melbourne, and a Cathay Pacific flight heading to Melbourne. The Northern Territory News reported today that the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB)was investigating how the Virgin Blue Boeing and Cathay Pacific Airbus A330 passenger aircraft came to be on a collision course last Tuesday, and have described the incident as "serious". Virgin Blue flight DJ1457 was carrying 120 passengers when it was discovered it was flying into the path of Cathay Pacific flight CX135 south of Katherine over the Northern Territory last Tuesday. Initial reports indicated they were heading towards each other on the same "reciprocal track". The north-bound Virgin Blue is understood to have been dangerously close to the south-bound Cathay Pacific flight heading south from Hong Kong to Melbourne. -- MORE AVITION-NEAR MISS 2 (LAST) MELBOURNE The ATSB said it was not until the crew of the Cathay Pacific flight questioned the controller, and the controller then instructed them to climb to another flight path and cleared the aircraft to divert right, that a collision was avoided. The Virgin Blue flight crew then told the air traffic controllers that they would divert right, and both planes passed each other safely. ATSB investigators are treating the incident as "serious". The fault is believed to have been made by Brisbane-based air traffic controllers. --BERNAMA Source : http://malaysia.news.yahoo.com/bnm/20091228/tts-aviation-near-miss-993ba14.html
