Just wondering i've just received my birthday vouchers from Enrich. Does Temptation's at KLIA still exist or are these specifically to be used for inflight shopping and excess baggage only?

I believe that would be the tier that I was initially talking about. They might have changed the name to Platinum Plus instead of Platinum Prestige or i might have read the welcome letter wrongly but the benefits are certainly the ones i was talking about. A quick question though did you receive your renewal pack via courier or normal post. I seem to remember that Platinum welcome packs were sent by courier service but i had an overseas address last time. Im still waiting for mine to arrive after 2 weeks of seeing card upgrade on my account.

The thing i cannot get is using Enrich points to redeem on MH flights will cost more from the 16th Feb than using Enrich points to redeem on a Oneworld carrier. Unless they are also going to be "enhancing" the oneworld redemption. Obviously on some routes one would certainly redeem with MH as they are they only direct flight, but for HKG and LHR(End May onwards) it would be cheaper to redeem on a CX or BA compared to MH. ] P.S thanks Suzanne for uploading. Just received an email from Enrich regarding the new earning and redemption rates. Not too happy with the new structure Redemption rates have increased a lot and earning rates for Economy, some fares increased some decreased, those fares that earns 50% will only earn 25% and those earning 75% will be increased to 85%. Business fare Z is 125% whilst J is 175% and C,D remains the same at 150%. All these taking into effect 16th Feb 2015

Like you my double elite and sectors has posted as normal. Any other members receive the same issue? P.S i did receive the email regarding the promotion.

I think you need to have received the email to quality for double elite sector points.

The T&C on my email says that miles are not accruable which like Ashley says is not attractive. The cheapest price offered to me from Y to I fare class which i assumes it books into was £640 for LHR-KUL. A quick call to the MAS call centre to ask to pay to upgrade to Z class (Business Promo) which accrues business class miles was £760. No brainer i took the later as it cost £120 more but i get the business class points. Although the lady did have to get the supervisor to approve the upgrade to Z class as she told me saying that usually one cannot pay to upgrade to Z class as its an internet promo fare. She said usually we can only pay to upgrade to D fare class and above but as they are having a promotion they allowed it.

With MH you don't need to fly J or F to qualify for Platinum/Emerald status. Its Platinum P that you need to fly J or F exclusively.

I believe they are offering 2x elite miles as like you we have not quite reached our level of elite miles needed to qualify for renewal. This is the T&C i got from the email I received: 2x ELITE MILES OR SECTOR BONUS PROMOTION PERIOD: 15 OCT – 15 DEC 2014 Terms and conditions 1. Same I've just recieved an email regarding double elite and double enrich miles. T & C states MH operated flights only. Suzanne there is nothing special between Platinum and Platinum P. Platinum P just gives you a 1k enrich miles bonus every 10k enrich miles flown. Rest of the privilege is the same even the card is the same as Enrich Platinum. I believe its 150 elite sectors not 130 to renew as that is the requirements currently showing on my parents account. Henry

Looks like instead of a quarterly WOR we get a WOR every 2 months. Hope it stays that way as it means there are more promotions to look forward to in a year.

I hope not. But just did some random checks and it looks like China destinations are 30% off redemption. Im secretly hoping that they are having 2x promotions for European destinations as I'm flying LHR-KUL-LHR 3x this quarter so it would be a nice addition to my mileage bank.

Has anyone here travelled on a OneWorld partner aircraft codeshare with a MAS flight number? For example MH9180 which is a CX flight but a MAS flight number. Im asking because i would like to know if we earn for example flying in Business class 150% plus the elite tier bonus of 25% for Silver and above in Enrich like how you would do if I flew on a MAS aircraft or do we earn 125% with no elite tier bonus like how i would with OneWorld partners of Enrich for business class. Currently booking LHR-KUL-BKK-KUL-BKK for September and again for October. I did the same route post MH370. LHR-KUL-SYD-KUL-LHR in December. My support for MH.

So as a Platinum member it is only 1 extra baggage like the rest of the Enrich Elite card holders.

Correct me if i am wrong but i thought only OW Emerald gets extra baggage across all OneWorld carriers. So I assume OW Ruby and Sapphire won't get this privilege but Enrich members Silver and above will for MAS operated flights.

I, for one is guilty of checking in multiple bags because I almost fully utilise my extra baggage allowance. So as a Platinum member if I am allowed to check in 2 addition baggage then fair enough I'm not too worried because i usually travel with 3-4 baggage. I believe BA operates piece system. - Y - 1 Baggage max 23kg - C - 3 Bags

This new baggage rules is not favourable. As an Enrich Platinum member I feel that my 100% excess baggage allowance is pointless because travelling in Business Class means i get 80Kg and with a max of 32kg each for each baggage and a max of 2 pieces, I cannot fully utilise my 80kg baggage allowance. And if i travel in First class i am entitled to 100kg but i can only use again 64kg max of the 100kg i am entitled too.. Doesn't make sense and its a devaluation of Enrich benefits. Or am i missing something here..

I wonder will it be a discounted price to upgrade considering that you get served Economy class meals if there is no Business class meals available, no business class enrich points and etc etc. If yes how much of a discount as well.. Hopefully someone will try it out and get back to us

Does anyone know if there is any redemption promotions in the new WOR? The website is not updated yet so thought someone might know if they recently patronised the office in KL Sentral?

I am 100% positive that you will earn miles, elite points and sectors for the original fare class you paid for when you upgrade. Redemption tickets yes you will not receive any Enrich Miles, Elite Miles or Sectors. I have tried to retro claim on the website before and it does work but its not always a success. I basically typed in the E-ticket number and the class of booking is not the one printed on the boarding pass but the original fare class paid and it should work. Otherwise it will be KL Sentral who will be able to help surely so I am shocked that they are saying no. I've even tried claiming through via the phone and it works but 1 week to credit. Henry

I was on the MH2 flight that turned back! Currently waiting in the lounge again for MH2D! That report is exactly what happened. The staff i would say did an adequate job but i believe more could be done. We had to wait in the flight for a while before we disembarked. I think First and Economy passengers were fully informed as they were briefed when they disembarked at the gate as they were held there but business passengers were told to go straight to the regional lounge and we waited there for a long time with no updates until 7am until they said we were put up at the Putrajaya Marriot hotel. They informed us that baggage would be off loaded but in the end that didn't happen and most of us that don't have a change of clothes are still wearing the same stuff. MAS did provide us breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel though.
