Lion Air and NADI announced a JV - Malindo Air
S M Tang replied to BC Tam's topic in General Aviation
Woke up this morning to 11 mails from them, all offering me the 10% discount! -
Just saw on someone's twitter, @DhesiBahaRaja (seems to be a professor. Just read his last few tweets for updates on the victims). The co-pilot is alive but in the Red Zone (Critical). The rest seems to be stable. Co-pilot has been transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. My apologies for the earlier misinformation.

Latest media statement from MASwings reports 6 injuries and no fatalities.
-
I'm guessing pressurisation problems.
-
Suddenly became hot on Facebook for some reason. If you look at the date of the article, it states 31 Jan 2012.
-
This incident happened over a year ago actually.
-
She came again (This time it's 9M-MRM), seen here on her takeoff run heading to Jeddah.
-
Didn't see the takeoff but I'm guessing not. The AOR flag waving was to commemorate the inaugural Haj flight from AOR.

I think flying on separate flights is a requirement. In the unlikely event of a fatal crash, the country's matters can be continued. However, they could've taken two separate COMMERCIAL flights.

It's the time of the year again...

From yesterday (3/9/2013) Firefly's new pride (and joy?). MAS charter to Tawau. I'm guessing a military charter as she came out from the Air Force apron. Rushed all the way from KUL to catch this delivery flight to EZE. Aerolineas Argentinas' first A330 (Ex reg:9M-MKX)
-
One of the very first aircraft I caught back in my early spotting days, MMB. My first catch of the Emirates A332 in KUL. First time seeing the Gading Sari B734 too. My catch of the day!

2013 Aircraft Deliveries to MAS Group, AirAsia Group & Malindo
S M Tang replied to flee's topic in General Aviation
According to their website, they still have Twin Otter services from BKI-SDK via KUD every Monday and Thursday (MH 3002). -
I've spotted M53-01 a couple of times since the repair. A check on FR24 also shows that it has been flying quite regularly this month. Surprised to see that 9M-NAA wasn't used instead.

A few more shots to share

Some shots to share before boarding my flight back to KUL.

Here's a video of the delivery ceremony: -
The topic got me excited until I read the post

Sultan of Brunei expected to be in KBR tomorrow or Thursday. No info on ETA or equipment for the time being.

Case closed on Indonesian passenger who hit & spat at MAS stewardess

I guess I know what to do the next time I'm annoyed with someone. -
Saw on FR24 that MH 716 (9M-MSB) turned back to CGK midway through and was squawking 0000. Any idea what happened? Just googled transponder code 0000 and it is for unreliable SSR data. Does that warrant for an air turn back? Note: It's on its way back to KUL now after a 3 hour delay.
-
My first proper shot of MH's A380 since she entered into service. It's been awhile since I last saw the 777 too.

Can be considered an SZB regular these days. While waiting for my catch of the day, 'Megasakti' with a low level formation flypast. Followed by these 2 (Callsign 'Transporter' if I'm not mistaken). My first time seeing the CN-235 with this paintjob. New scheme? And what was supposed to be my catch of the day...

Thanks for the info guys!

Spotted N887WM parked at the GA apron and upon further research, it seems that Bill Gates (or his aircraft at least) is in town! Can anyone confirm this?
