  1. I believe the main problem is the 3x weekly service while most airlines offer one stop service from KUL, with multiple flights DAILY(how convenient)....sad to see MH out of EWR. I guess moree 777 flight to SIN now

  3. I flew MH Biz class from LAX last spring, they did hand out hot towels. It's really sad to see MH is going way backwards.
  4. Just a dumb question, but will they give out hot towels thou? Or it's the same category as tissue?
  5. Flew this route many times, definitely more than 4 hours, up to 5 hours may be, 4 hours only get you to HKG, while TPE is further north.
  6. If the lightning theory is somehow true...then this would be the second AF jet brought down by this mother nature? My thoughts are with AF 447. Still hoping for survivors.
  7. I'm sure MH doing their best out there, prolly there are tonnes of stuff they know that we don't know about running MH. But, heck I want new plane!
  8. No, no seriously, I flew on both business class same route(LAX-TPE), gosh, I'll die to fly on MH than BR. MH For KUL-TPE, PTV n newer plane on BR would make the flight more enjoyable. AFAIK, BR crews are not as top as MH.
  9. I would prefer MH way over BR over so many things, but if you are looking at 737 vs 332, of course 332 anytime.
  10. Expect nothing then you'll be impressed...........if you expect a lot, then you're just going to disappoint yourself. FLY EMIRATES!!!
  11. 1. 333 is a clear winner, although by small margin. 2. KUL-SIN is a short haul no matter what. 3. No IFE for KUL-SIN. But again, everyone would prefer to be in 772 with all the extra stuff it has....I would prefer to be in their 333 bcuz of the legroom.
  12. seat pitch and width. nothing else. the rest are just unnecessary advantages. being a frequent traveler now, I prefer to sleep throughout the flight instead. In real life, rarely something like this happen, it's always either cheap airfare + great airline or expensive airfare + so-so airline. haha.

  14. 333 to 772 is a downgrade...............well just a few seats, but still May be it's more economical?
  15. Greetings from JFK I have 10 hours transit here and I am yet to witness swine flu related sign/article/caution etc. around the airport. and none here where mask etc.
  16. SQ vs. UA, well, this is a no-brainer....go for SQ, you won't regret. Just make sure u hv enough time at IAD, it's a mess up airport. Other than that, hv fun browsing more options!
  17. IS one of the planes USED as AF1, as long as the commander-in-chief is not onboard, it aint AF1, just a government jumbo jet flying around NY, technically theoretically that's AF1, no point arguing there.

  19. Because EK offer KUL>DXB>somewhere while MH operate from point to point. Try to fly EK to DXB, if you arrive at the terminal via bus, 99% of the pax would head to the left side for transit. Witnessed this 7 times already and of course there are other advantages flying EK, better service, real 5 star service, cheaper, etc etc. Great news nonetheless for KLIA, F to KUL? Something my dad would be happy about.
  20. Yes, I always thought the whole reason for downgrading this route is due to the lack of premium flyers.
  21. Agree with Isaac, I found that MH 333 is way too luxurious compare to their 332.
