EK seat is fine, im almost 6ft, no problem flying EK, in fact quite comfy...why bother cabin crew when u only interact with them barely minutes out of the 14 hours flight. Pax probably spend most of their time with IFE.

Just a wild guess here, the one that cost 24K is probably EK flight from KUL to MEL via DXB, so it's KUL-DXB-SIN-MEL vv, hence explained the high fare. The 2K one is direct from MEL to KUL, from 1 feb.

I have to agree with KUL-SIN fare, once I got 80USD fare Most of the time if I compare with other carriers, their US flight to Asia via Japan is extremely expensive + their products in Y is not that great IMO.
