  1. Well if you read the LAN 787 article they are taking 767's
  2. Yeay OZ BI is cheap especially on the hopping mad route.
  3. None needed maybe if MH purchase JL 787 slots or goes with JAL to buy 787 as JL has purchase power which effect MH could get in skyteam.
  4. But customers will want to fly new like QF/SQ they prefer 380 to 747
  5. Businessman sues BA 'for treating men like perverts' Mirko Fischer claims BA brand all men as potential sex offenders A businessman is suing British Airways over a policy that bans male passengers from sitting next to children they don't know - even if the child's parents are on the same flight. Mirko Fischer has accused the airline of branding all men as potential sex offenders and says innocent travellers are being publicly humiliated. In line with the policy, BA cabin crew patrol the aisles before take-off checking that youngsters travelling on their own or in a different row from their parents are not next to a male stranger. If they find a man next to a child or teenager they will ask him to move to a different seat. The aircraft will not take off unless the passenger obeys. Mr Fischer, a 33-year-old hedge fund manager, became aware of the policy while he was flying from Gatwick with his wife Stephanie, 30. His wife, who was six months pregnant, had booked a window seat which she thought would be more spacious. Mr Fischer was in the middle seat between her and a 12-year-old boy. Shortly after all passengers had sat down, having stowed their bags in the overhead lockers, a male steward asked Mr Fischer to change his seat. Mr Fischer refused, explaining that his wife was pregnant, at which point the steward raised his voice, causing several passengers to turn round in alarm. He warned that the aircraft could not take off unless Mr Fischer obeyed. Mr Fischer eventually moved seats but felt so humiliated by his treatment that he is taking the airline to court on the grounds of sex discrimination-He is paying all his own legal If he wins at the hearing next month at Slough County Court, BA will have to change its policy. He has promised to donate any compensation to the NSPCC. Mr Fischer, who lives in Luxembourg with his wife and their daughter Sophia, said: 'This policy is branding all men as perverts for no reason. The policy and the treatment of male passengers is absolutely outrageous. 'A plane is a public place - cabin crew regularly walk down the aisles and passengers are sat so close to each other. The risk of any abuse is virtually zero. 'Furthermore statistically children are far more likely to be abused by a member of their family. Does that mean that BA are going to ban children sitting next to their own parents?' 'I was made to feel like a criminal in front of other passengers. It was totally humiliating. Neither myself or my wife dared to speak to the boy in case the cabin crew forced us from our seats. The poor child must have thought we were extremely rude and unfriendly.' Claude Knights, of the children's charity Kidscape said: 'The airline should have procedures in place to avoid this sort of situation. 'If the airline is that concerned they should sit unaccompanied children with cabin crew who have no doubt been thoroughly vetted.' A BA spokesman said: 'As this is case is subject to court proceedings, it would be inappropriate for us to comment at this time.' It's a shame bush is saying all arabs are terroists. t
  6. Will we see AA establish a hub like NW before the takeover
  7. What are you talking about the average joe will notice the difference for ex. mood lighting, no shades, dimmed windows. etc.. these are avaliable on the 787 not on the 330 and the passenger will notice as probaly SQ will advertise the 787's while MH will advertise anicent technology, even BI has 787's on order. Why is MH is not buying 739's if the 330's are toobig or lease 757's
  8. If we are saying MH is having an aircaft too big or small. Why can't they buy 739er/321 or lease 757/767
  9. Yeah the Myvi is probly going to be for 10 years without ESP or decient bags. FLEE WHY CAN CHINA EASTERN GET THERES BY 2014?
  10. More like the movie series Back To The Future, If we are talking Airbus compensation why no 350
  11. THIS DOES NOT ANSWER MY QUESTION! So woudn't MH get discount if they order 350-800 which is close to the 787-9 It's better to move foward than to fly back in time. But if its like QF that cancelled their 15 787's they can jump in
  12. Than why can CHina Eastern is able to get there's by 2014? The 330 is a tempoary situation MH needs the 787 soon as a airline cancels MH take it, because this could me early slots and better brand, I am suprised the did not take the QF bunch that were canceled.
  13. What are you talking you should say 330 plus 340 because you cannot compare the any 330 with the 777lr or 777w
  14. This is the aviation industry, not the car industry the it actually takes 7 years to build the e-class. E stands for fuel injected in german
  15. It is better for MH to lease there planes as someone will take the deappreciation and it won't build into MH cost as well whoever said MH 10year 330's planes need to replace this is Malaysia not Singapore there are no deapprecitation laws in Malaysia.

  17. But they have 380's why 77w they have the lasiest 744 fleet. Add BI as competiton for Kangaroo Route
  18. That will mean when MH recieve there 330's, UA will be reciveing 787's and be ahead 2 years.
  19. Sorry for poor spelling, but you have forgot S7, lcal and QF. S7 cancelled all their 787-8 all 15 LCAL cancelled 3 QF cancelled all 787-8's
  20. I think you are exhadurating. They can take advantage of a 787 cancellation. Plus SQ will start sending 330's to Morjave.
  21. Don't forget these days BI don't even have any soverniors other than a note pad, pen and folder
  22. By the time MH gets the 330's they will be considered inefficent and usless
