Is there enough bays in T1 to cater the numbers of AirAsia aircraft movements? Think MASwings ATR might have squeezed out from their bays.

Not just AirAsia, quite a few airlines (eg: flybe) do practice taxing with one engine before take off / after landing. Nowadays, fuel cost high or low, if you can save a penny, save it.

Departing from any Malaysian Airports, remove belt, watches, chains, ring, bracelet, coins, jacket, Laptop and iPad need to take out and placed into a tray. Even departing from tiny airport like Lahad Datu or even domestic airport like LBU, same SOP.
