  5. i have to disagree. KCH MFM were boom but cut off for unknown reason. I heard many taitai here complaint since ak launch KCH MFM, many husbands took business trip to China too frequently and also influx of china ladies in town

  7. Why have to depend on bki sbw sector? Bki only cater 11 daily international flight. Andrew Wong shud hv aim higher. Aim for 1st sbw sin flight. There you will tape hundreds of international traffic to sbw. Doesnt it make more sense than kept on talking bki-sbw route stale issue?

  9. Looking back at Aireen statement of her concern of the airport tax will affect the pax, i did small research. AK flies to 9 international destination (HGH, CAN, HKG, TPE, CRK, CEB, DPS, CGK, SIN) = 9 daily international flight AK Domestic flight (TWU SDK KCH MYY JHB KUL PEN KBR) BKI TWU x 4 daily BKI SDK x 3 daily BKI KCH x 3 daily BKI MYY x 2 daily BKI JHB x 1 daily BKI KUL x 2 daily BKI PEN x 2 daily BKI KBR x 14 daily total domestic flight = 31 just assume other factors ceteris paribus , which market are the one actually Aireen should look into? domestic route pax or International route pax? That airport tax are just merely excuses...kong kong kong, ketuk tin kosong
  10. I hate to see this arrogant statement from that lady. I was at KK T2 last monday and was hot sweaty when this lady arrive from KUL. The claimed Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAB) had yet to prepare proper facilities for them to move into Terminal 1 but in reality what have they done to pax using t2? i guess they are trying to say what have MAHB done top ensure our profit is not affected, nothing is about the passenger but their profit. Oh yeah, who say Air asia is low cost? Nasi Lemak is selling at Rm14 leh wey... murah ka? Problem faced at Terminal Lousy Cattle Class (i would call it). 1. Not enough seat 2. long queue security n immigration 3. limited car park 4. hot, humid terminal 5. overall, its congested 6. the toilet is very dirty... shame to Malaysia when tourist arrived and found the toilet is so dirty 7. lastly at there are people SMOKING in the toilet... what is this? I learnt my lesson last monday. 1. Only travel AK only when I am out of choice 2. when at Lousy cattle class terminal, and found a seat, stick ur butt to the chair and only move to toilet when they boarding announcement is made and joining the line after the toilet break 3. mesti ada hati batu- when u see got ppl in need i wont give up my seat... or else i will have to stand in hot steamy sweaty boarding hall...
  11. another point to note, travelling decision within Sarawak (KCH-SBW, MYY-SBW or KCH-MKM etc etc) either on AK, MH or Maswing mostly are done last minute. I do admit sometime MASwing tend to be cheaper than AK, when bought last minute. So some time looking at the fare online doesn't reflect the load factor. Most business man will decide to travel last minute. how much time in between the point decide to travel and travel time is another interesting research question. I did a study on decision making by business traveller on LCC or FSC before. i missed out this part where how last minute the business traveller in making decision to travel. Re turboprob. i would prefer to travel using turbo prob. faster turn around time, boarding n disembark faster, light weight, can be of more frequency. my fond experience with OD from SZB-PEN. plane turn around time is as efficient as AK.
  12. MASWING is always the bottom of my list. No. 1 reason is the exuberant surcharges. The tix can go for Rm21 but after tax its gonna be Rm1++. Paling minimum surcharges plus tax is RM70. MY 1st choice when buying tix is to check MH, then AK, then Maswing. normally will take MH even its slightly more than AK.. My last trip to SIN, organizer proposed me to take AK, RM470 w 20kg luggage while MH is charging Rm430 come with 30kg luggage... macam mana AK tidak untung? hi hi hi
  13. sad to see that too. BTU also axed their boeing service too. that just giving AK chance to escalate the price... used to travel on AK during school holidays... 40% load but selling return ticket like RM300 for return flight

  19. may n june... keamatan in sabah and gawai in sarawak... who want to loose out making money during those period? During CNY, a friend of mine scoop out RM3.5k for 2 adult and 1 infant for AK KUL SBW return ticket. i did an dummy booking on MH business class for the same day same route but off set the early departure out from Sibu, MH charging Rm4.5k.
  20. Some comment on the domestic lounge. I cant imagine how was the lounge before renovation as the current one are way below my expectation. was on transit from bkk to kch with 1 hour transit time... hence grab whatever I can at the lounge. The food spread, quality and variety of the food offered still can be better and the overall "classiness" is not there. May be I was much impressed with the plaza premium lounge that I have to fork out my own money to enter it. Their choice are much impressive with the fridge fully stocked with beverages and the food variety are better than the MH domestic lounge
