why do clouds cause turbulence ?
when i was very young, a pilot told me it was because it caused the plane to lose balance

“We are positioning ourselves as a Five-Star Value Carrier,” he explained. “It is about providing value, but at very affordable fares. We want to be a Toyota, not a Mercedes.”darn, being a "toyota" isn't exactly 5 star
Would be happier if MH wanted to be a BMW 3 series rather than a 7series

can we arrange to have a charter on the remaining F50's before they dissapear for good?
my 1st plane ride was when i was 2 weeks old on a Malaysian Airlines F27
would really be awesome if we could have 1 last in-flight cockpit visit of these dutch beauties.

agreed. they should revise the price of the ERL to below RM50 for a return ticket.
Even the Heathrow express is 21pounds for a return journey. (Let's not forget its London, where everything costs much much more)

Emirates 1st class seating looks crammed
well MH seems to enjoy using space as a an advantage (World Largest Golden lounge ? KLIA ? MH A380 commercial about 2 ppl on a beach? ) . maybe our A380's will include dedicated showers and spa treatment

i still think KIA is the 1st airport to have this implemented because of its high "break in" case.
i've kena a few times myself when transiting to KL or S'pore. baggage always get tampered with .
even the head of police for the state has his padlock cut off a few years back

Thanx Denny! Damn nice!! How come aaaa our triples don't look as funky as other airlines' triples...????/ <_>because MH is classy and went for the heliconia
the V on the bottom looks like something superman would wear

wouldnt this increase boarding time ? (and turn around time)
without preassigned seating passengers will more be more likely to just "sit down" than waste time looking for the seat and blocking people at the back.

Though i still remember back in the nineties, the meals were a lot huger! Even in domestic, flying in and out of borneo one gets a full hot meal! With appetiser, roti and all!Now we would thank our lucky stars when one gets hot meals.
unless you travel by airasia
i remember MH used to give out sweets prior to landing on their intra borneo flights

when i get back can go for complimentary joyride ?

any idea which routes these 738's will serve 1st ?

I for one support this new "KLIA East"
AirAsia is among a new breed of companies, much like nuffang/ google who are dynamic and places profit 1st and protocol 2nd. I'm not sure how everyone else will feel about this, but at least it will get the job done. fast.
MAHB should focus on attracting foreign airlines. but they can't even satisfy local customers. So many "plans" of theirs are long overdue. Remember when they announced that all airports within M'sia will have free wifi way back in 07? Even KLIA as a "designated hub" still dosent have acceptable wifi speeds. why do something if you can't do it properly?
It's petty of me to take wifi as an example, but it's 1 of many unfulfilled promises by MAHB.

Wah,down memory lane!lucky you to have that picture, timothy!Damnnnn... Incredible photograph man! Unfortunately I've never seen those MAS F50s in real Lucky I've got MasWings and Firefly just in time at SZB last yearWow, din't expect so many positive replies. the picture quality is somewhat poor .. apologies for that It was taken on Dec 19th 2005.
I got 1 more showing the 3rd F50 landing. Taken when seated in MAS b737.
And a few more random shots :
If MH has the world's best cabin crew, then AirAsia must have the world's friendliest ground crew :yahoo:

The livery is uglierBut its a nice dream. He should take over SQ and then divert all their traffic to KUL
and let MH use changi

Anyone have any idea on how much does the trains from london to bristol will cost me?national rail Depends on how early to book. Usually around 35-40 pounds if you buy on the spot
-
just curious , when Datuk Fernandes flew to london to launch this route ... what airline did he use ?
-
-
slow but at least the page loads
proud that KLIA offers this service unlike other International airports
-
but you get to see the nice SQ a380 hanging from the ceiling
they use to have a car contest for the whole of last year if i recall. my only chance to stare at a luxury car for more than 3 hours xD
but dont bother comming to the airport too early tho .. check in counter only opens at 6pm for the 10pm flight.

Vincent Tan's private bird is 9M-TAN, a Bombardier Challenger 300. Incidentally, airline.net and jetphotos.net is a pretty good intelligence source to show where are his new business venture.Believe the latest member to Malaysia corporate jet club is Genting/RWB.
odd that VT finds the need to have his own jet (ie: not company owned:P)
Maybe you were referring to Country Heights' 733 9M-CHG?is this plane still in service with them ?
Anybody know anything about Datuk Tiong's plane? He's the MP of Bintulu (my hometown ) he used to have a Lear45 but now flys in a G-IV (i think)
have photos of the plane, but its all back home
