  4. Great coverage there guys I did saw Hotel Golf around 1400hrs at LCCT-KLIA(enroute for me going to the MTB to catch SKB)yesterday but didnt realise that it has the"1st Airbus in Kota Kinabalu" sticker on it. So, congrats to BKI for getting a brand new airbus for its hub. Now,when will KCH get its"1st Airbus in Kuching" aircraft?? Im sure Iggy will be the 1st person to approach the security counter to get his pass for the welcoming event. And i do hope that the KCH AFRS will practice their water cannon shot properly for that event...

  9. From what i know is that the current airport is old and small so they wanted to upgrade it. Besides, they wanted the airport to cater for the Hajj flight during the Hajj season.Currently, all the east coast Hajj pilgrims have take flights to KUL before going to Mecca. So when the airport is fully functional, maybe MAS can then reroute one of the B747 to here and go directly to Mecca. So expect to see some B747 landing here....jk Just my 2cent though...

  14. Hei Nick, The Bintulu trip is the BEST :yahoo: F50 ride that I(We) been through. Certainly,it is now in memoirs but the fun (to land at one of the NEAREST AIRPORT TO A TOWN)is trully an enjoyable and a memorable experience. Really sad that there is no more MAS or FAX F50 in KIA. :(
  15. Hei Iggy,i think that you already met me. Remember during the last week of june(Wednesday afternoon, i think)that you and Nick went spotting for the MH A333 and AK A320.I'm the person that driving the white Kancil that park at the back of your Arena that day.Didn't you remember????
  16. Hello guys, this is my first post here although I'm a regular visitor to this site. Just wanted to share some info about the aircraft that flew over Kch on the 14th of July. That aircraft is actually an Airbus A333 beloging to the China Airlines that operating the Taipei-Jakarta-Taipei sector(CI677/678).Other than that, there is also a Cathay Pacific flight(CX776),Hong Kong-Jakarta-Hong Kong, that flew over Kch during the same time. Both of them are flying towards BKI VOR. Beside that, there is also a SIA flight(SQ181/182)that flew in the morning and a Japan Airlines(forgot the flight number )that flew at midnight. You can actually listen to the sound of the aircraft engines when it flew over,TRUST ME (not that loud lah) ,around the BDC and 3th Mile area(kch people will know this place). From where that I know all these things is that I got a radio scanner. For the info, I'm from Kch currently studying in Shah Alam. I hope this will solve the "mystery" aircraft.
