  1. Thanks Mr. Azizul for share some info here.. But the route KLU-ARN-EWR operate only 2 times weekly really doesn't make any sense..I agree with what Mr. K K Lee had mention in post #31..the frequency of airline operate on the route will effect on passenger loads..But i believe also MAS try to keep the EWR route even they face difficulties to maintain this route..Since SQ offer daily non-stop flight EWR..that the biggest challenge for MAS.. Emm look like India sub-continental destination always popular either for Malaysian traveler or Indian workers..which one??hehehe
  2. HEllo..Good day.. to Capt. Radzi..I really miss to see your picture which you snap while on duty as pilot..hehehe..Long time i do not see this kind of pictures from you on airliners.net Soon we will see new Medan Airport..
  3. Hai..Capt Radzi what happen to AFA?? Nice model and yes it really look like the plane hit/stuck in the building..hehehe But it at least show some "trademark" at their academy building also and their proud with their branding name.. Again to Datuk IJ..Bila nak buat satu?
  4. Wow Capt Nik H that so fast you post on this forum..Awesome and nice Capt..Thanks for sharing with us.. :good: I have a question..Since i realize the plane MAS use for this Chelsea Tour is B747-4H6, my question is, with huge size of aircraft and same time small amount of player, coaches also team management..Why use B747 instead B777?if it fully load, who are the others boarding same time with them, The Chelsea Fan club members ke? Capt., any info when this big monster will touch down at KLIA? Thanks Capt.
  5. Oppppssss i forget the person is Capt Nik H. emm look like soon we will have opportunity to see Capt. Nik H TR on Chelsea Tour..Same like the Manchester Tour..
  6. Wow guys..what a big hole on the cargo compartment.. Emm maybe in 5 years later will able to see what actually happen to this bird on National Geographic Channel..hehe.. Any possible this aircraft will fly back? or will go to grave yard..
  7. Emm MAS did not specifies what fleet their will be using for the tour..either B777 or B747..Maybe B747 as previously MAS done the charter flight for Manchester United also Real Madrid team.. I saw the logo of MAS on the Chelsea Tour to Malaysia around 2 weeks ago but i cant find any big size of the banner to upload to this forum.. This trip Chelsea will not bring along thier striker Drogba as what i read this week news report. Welcome The Blues..
  8. Emm at least AK give us a good news and provide us more opportunity to fly around our SEA neighbor country with reasonable fare.. As i believe what make AK still survive with this LCC business model just because it really low cost and givw passenger low fare but AK still left behind in thier services.. The main thing that I would to know is..What make AK inspire to keep explore new route within this region with uncertain current economy situation? It really high demand on passenger on unpopular route?Don't say it just because AK need to so because they receive lots of A320 and don't want the plane under utilize just park at the airport apron.. Other thing is,Malaysia AK keep make profit from their business but unfortunate with Thai AirAsia..why?may be it not direct under Dato TF management kot.. "NOW EVERONE CAN FLY"
  9. EMM..good proposal here..why not we all Malaysianwings member to prove the Malaysia Boleh spirit by making this model with our own MW livery and put it at (i dont where)..hehehehehehehhe..may be at weather station spotting area.. Emm the cost of the model let say USD10k but the how about shipment..huhuhu..can put inside box ka..hehehe.. But honestly it really huge same size on actual B737..can you imagine it??what a massive.. emm to Datuk Seri IJ..how??one to make 1/2 scale ke on MAS A380 soon..
  10. Hai Mr. MIR..Nice job here to create new livery for MAS B737-800.. But i personally do not like the tail design also the font of MAS on fuselage..It do not match lah..look bit cacat..if the font you can make it bit small,i guess it ok..sorry to mention, it not critic all your work..IF we can see the Lion Air with Boeing livery still consider nice.. :)
  11. Niner Mike - Mike Romeo Delta : Back to operation..No Year Visit Malaysia advert also..now i notice it..
  12. Thanks again and again Mr.MIR.. and also It really odd to see 9M-MRD with normal uniform here..honestly..after long time with special blue uniform.. Just like Standard 1 till 3 you are normal pupil and the following 2 years you are the Pengawas (prefect) and at year last in primary school again you back as normal pupil..that how 9M-MRD journey look like.. Anyway thank to MAS also to made this bird so "marvelous" to spot and it will be in my heart forever..
  13. never mind about the quality of the picture as long as we can see 9M-MRD back to "school"..hehehe.. Thanks Mr. MIR for sharing with us the picture... ..I Appreciate that.. Yes it is look dirty at the tail..I may thought the plane look shining after complete long process at "Paint Workshop"..Look like the "bird"went for jungle tracking last week..hehehe..
  14. emm bro any picture of 9M-MRD with normal new "uniform"..Come share with bit.. Emm the footprints left behind may be as prove that MH shortage of aircraft kot..
  15. I miss Heliconia so much.. :( ..She will never use same "cloth" as she wear before, after she complete with maintenance work at KLIA hanger she will continue work with normal uniform.. I believe all Malaysian spotter will miss her too..
  16. Hello good day to Mr. Juergen Witte also others, Good to know you like to visit this country with our local hospitality.. :good: I personally believe that the new ATR72-500 will be use to serve new route by FireFly which the plane need cross the Melaka Strait ..All the destination heading to Sumatra Island, Indonesia..But slowly and surely all the current existing Firefly Fokker-50 will be replace soon..So in future you may serve much better Malaysia Hospitality on ATR.. I just like to suggest to you..If you had any opportunity soon, you should explore the nature of Borneo Island by using MASwings..MASwings also will use ATR72-500 soon to replace the Fokker 50.. Next Tuesday my aunt will arrive from Germany..She currently stay at Stuttgart.. [Off topic] --Somebody move this topic I guess from Flight Lookbook. Why? [Off topic]
  17. So after this do not feel wired if the airlines start to charge you if you use the wash room.. :help: I believe most of the operator want to cut cost on what they believe as Reducing Cost = Same Cost of Operation per sector (after fuel jet price soaring) which the passenger will get cheaper ticket including Zero Fare.. So not always the Lower Cost Carrier brings you the best service as they operate at lowest cost..So if plan to use LCCs service, by the end of your journey, please don't ask the ground steward/stewardess where to make complain or suggestion box located.. ;)
  18. Emm guys..its not my mistake to put all aircraft category under narrow-body aircraft..i took it according what the reporter wrote on his news report.. :pardon: I know all the aircraft mention as wide-body aircraft.. But i don't think MAS will put MD11 as they best option..since most airliners will search fuel-efficient aircraft and MD11 is old workhouse..
  19. Qoute from New Stairts Times on Jluy 14 2008 By Rupinder Singh Malaysia Airlines Cargo Sdn Bhd (MASkargo), the cargo arm of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is mulling over introduction narrow body freighters to its fleet to offset the high cost of jet fuel. Managing Director Shahari Sulaiman said it is considering models such as B777Fs, B767Fs, A330Fs and A300-600Fs. "We have not made a final decision yet, but if implemented, the narrow-body freighters will complement MASkargo's existing network," he told Business Times. "We are now at the planning stage for studying the viability of introducing narrow-body freighters operations," he added. Maskargo currently has a fleet of six wide-body aircraft, comprising four 747-200F wet-leased from Air Atlanta and two 747-400F dry leased from Penerbangan Malaysia Berhad. MASkargo plans to replace the four B747-200F in the two-and-a-half years' times. The wet lease expires in 2010. With jet fuel prices shattering records just about every week, MASkargo aims to continue with its cost-efficiency initiative, which include freighter network improvements via shorter flight paths to reduce flight time and in favour of more fuel efficient aircraft. Since the end of February, MASkargo has diverted 70 per cent of its flights into Europe to Uzbekistan, which allowed the company to serve the same market at much reduced cost. "The concept is,since the fuel price has increased so much in recent moths and is anticipated to remain at this level or even increase further,we fell that some stations that are served in our network could be served in a more cost-effective manner using twin engine operations instead of four engine operations," Shahari said.
  20. emm if Dato' TF make an announcement to increase AK fuel surcharge..it really give impact on AK image..since last month he mention that he airline will not make any surcharge adjustment.. "Tak kan luah ke langit jatuh ke muka sendiri"..
  21. Hope so some MH management read this one..good opinion..at least there still some Malaysian want see MH become want they achieve in the 90's..we proud with our own National Carrier,MH.. Many thanks to Mr. K C Sim..
  22. Hai Fashni..Welcome to MW forum ..emm some good opinion here.. In my opinion..why should an airline add frequency if the current frequency never give some good load yield..why should the airline add their losing by operate daily flight basis if the aircraft fly with 10 passenger only..I can understand, less frequency serving on certain sector make the airline less popular to fly with them, but that is the only best option for airline keep operate for certain sector..Even Qantas plan to operate only 3 times weekly to EZE.. If we still remember, why MH need to terminate Manchester route last 2 year..MAS need to achieve 140% load factor to break even..if MH can fly 100% passenger on that route,MH still need addition 40% passenger to cover the operation cost.. Correct me if i wrong..
  23. Emm according to NST news report from Farnborough, MH agree to pay USD2.6 Billion (MYR 8.4 billion) for 35 B737-800NG..i just like to ask some question here.. Pardon me if my question sound funny.. :pardon: 1. Quote from the report "The airlines has acquired purchase rights for an addition 20 aircraft, which it will only have to deice on from 2016 onwards." My question, what the quote really mean..it is MAS will get special price for next order on B737-800/900 in future??.. why some report say MAS buy 55 plane..what the other 20 aircraft as option mean?? 2. Again quote from the report: "Chief financial officer Datuk Tengku Azmil Zahruddin said MAS will acquire the the plane directly, and will partially sell adn lease back from Penerbangan Malaysia Berhad." My question is,from my what i understand, if MAS will own all the 35 aircrafts, why MAS should sell it again??and what mean by "lease bacj from PMB"?? Previously, i though MAS will buy some and some PMB will buy it and MAS will lease from PMB.. Thanks..
  24. I just like to know..among Malaysian, who is really travel to EZE? What purpose? Business?? Because not much airline in Asia operate to this South America Continental beisde MH, JA and latest KE.. I just like to know..among Malaysian, who is really travel to EZE? What purpose? Business??
