  1. I somehow is looking forward on Premium Economy class as i see there is a future following most legacy carrier (not just only MAS, soon) exits the First Class offering, as noted earlier, MH does not have a good brand association with its premium offering. I been doing some talk lately with some people and it seem that Y+, being a new product as it is, rather lack appeal unless being designed right. I wonder the possibility for MH to offer Y+ passenger the accessibility to the premium plus for a small fare. That could be a great utilisation on the lounge it self as well as side income
  2. Thanks for the suggestion This thread is certainly worthy for being an achieve especially for me whom did not manage to enjoy the heyday of SZB anyway, i manage to upload the image into Photobucket http://i736.photobucket.com/albums/xx6/Zharif_Zaini/New%20Straits%20Times%20-%20Google%20News%20Archive%20Search%202015-10-20%2021-21-07_zpsmf484d0j.jpg according to the news article, the 707 was finally moved to Klang to be broken up
  3. I was reading through this forum yesterday and was interested in the story of the ex-Royal Fiji Boeing 707, did some digging and found a news extract from News Strait Time dating back from 1990, ps : I am new here so i don't know how to knit the image to the forum
  4. With Malaysia Airline planing to downgrade CDG from an A380 to B772ER, news post link below (only can find it in french), this get me thinking, why not sent the surplus A380 to Australian major airport i.e. Melbourne-Tullamarine & Sydney-Kingsford http://www.tourmag.com/Malaysia-Airlines-divise-pratiquement-son-offre-par-deux-a-Paris_a74861.html With only 1 destination currently being served by the A380, LHR, this left MH with 4 surplus A380 baking under the sun at KLIA. That said, MH already sent the A380 on its SYD sector but measly to cater the seasonal demand. http://www.ausbt.com.au/malaysia-airlines-to-fly-a380s-on-sydney-kuala-lumpur-route SYD & MEL was even 'on-the-book' for the destination that the A380 will eventually serve but due to the bilateral seat agreement between AUS-MY the plan was abandon due to being in favour of the frequency instead of capacity. (3 flights per day instead of 2 flights per day). With the recent announcement that MH to cut down on the flight frequency on its Australian sector, is MH A380 to AUS a possibility or rather just a fantasy? http://www.ausbt.com.au/malaysia-airlines-cuts-flights-to-brisbane-sydney-melbourne-adelaide-perth
