  1. F-22 still under testing? Still not fully operational?
  2. I think she's trying to get something out of nothing. If not, why don't other people sue AirAsia? I remember getting the offer price for KL to Gold Coast, but for the return price is much more than the outgoing flight. So, had I bought the ticket, is that grounds for me to sue? Aih, think this is America eh, want to sue here sue there...
  3. Wikipedia, not the source you can always trust in...
  4. Boy, the MD-11 sure got a lot of problems, judging by the incidents & accidents listed on that article...
  5. Fedex lost how many MD-11's now? Always the same situation, crash during landing. Any news on the fate of the crew?
  6. Vendor creates problem, the main company suffers...just like...
  7. It's just a joke. I doubt it's meant to tarnish the profession. I mean, I've read somewhere that Southwest Airlines told the prospective pilots that they're interviewing to change from the normal uniform to shorts. No harm done...
  8. Yup. And in fact there's only been ONE US President who had visited Malaysia. Lyndon Johnson, way back in the Sixties. Because of him Felda LBJ got its name.
  9. Does this include the pilot cadets from MH & AK?
  10. Well, I don't see what this has to do with the issue. I mean, Dr.M have done more for the nation.
  11. I seriously doubt any merger between the two. Won't make economic sense. If MH takes over AK, then AK staff surely wants to be on the same level as MH staff, salary-wise. Bang goes the whole low cost structure. Not to mention the fact of incompatible equipments.
  12. But what about Atlanta, or Washington (Both Reagan National & Dulles), or Paris Charles-De-Gaulle? They sound nice. At least if they want to change the name, don't drop the city name, but for KLIA it would probably sound a bit weird : Kuala Lumpur Mahathir International Airport (KLMIA). JFK's original name was Idlewild Airport, named after the golf course situated nearby.
  13. Oh, well when I bought the book I was a Borders staff, so I got a 20% discount, so I didn't know that.
  14. Yep, sure's a nice book...but why did you buy from amazon? I've seen the book on the shelf at Borders...
  15. Then we'll lose out more than we'll gain...
  16. I think they should be pissed off already, since whenever an EPL game goes on, AirAsia's name is displayed on the refs...
  17. Well, if you want to be ready for the real flight simulator, get some time on MS Flight Sim, like this guy. http://www.flightsim.com/main/feature/question.htm
  18. So for the MH Sim Experience RM 500 will buy you a fixed-based sim experience? Or full motion? Thinking of trying it out for myself, maybe as a birthday present to myself...
  19. I wonder whether MAS is experiencing the same thing. Senyap aje...
  20. It's all about their culture. For them, objectifying women is sexist, whereas here in Asia, it's not a big issue. The Singapore Girl is a good case in point. Anyway, there's nothing wrong with that ad...just silly complaints.
  21. I'm intrigued with MSA. Why did they split up, other than the fact the Singaporeans want to concentrate on intl. flights while we want to focus on domestic flights. And did the route map put more emphasis on Singapore rather than Malaysia?
  22. Well, a lot of people said flying isn't what it used to be anymore. All the Low-Cost frenzy sucked the glamour out of flying. But I'm not complaining. And Cathay were quite proud of their British & Australian pilots, aren't they?
  23. You mean largest customer outside of America? Since Southwest uses nothing but 737s
  24. No wonder I saw an XL plane at the Subang hangar on my way to Shah Alam...
