  1. Thanks Wilson for info. Fablee
  2. Hi Wonderful pixs from you all. Just wondering why most pixs are taken in the morning. Is there less traffic in the afternoon? Thank you. Fablee
  3. Chaity, you're most welcome. Will post more WSSS photos once they are processed. Spotting can still be done from transit area of Changi when you should next use SIN. Cheers Fablee
  4. Spotted the follwing at VM Any idea what IndiGo is doing here? Nevermind the Qantas. There seems to be a Gulf Air tail to the left of the QF. Do you know why she's in SIN? Thanks for viewing.
  5. Have a question for you regarding overnighting a/c at Changi Airport. How much time usually before its departure will an overnighting a/c be towed to its departure gate from the remote stands? Thank you. 6/6/08 I was at the Changi Viewing Mall (Central Apron Section) and thought I would post an update on the Viewing Mall Retrofitting. The VM remains open for photography as of today Retrofitting near C gates Retrofitting near D gates
  6. Thanks, Desmond. Although wx could have been better-----
  7. CX739 was operated by her today. She was substituted last minute for a 77W.
  8. Hi Bob I am fine. Beaut pixes you have been posting from PEN. Great proximity to that Gurney Drive char kway teow. Thanks for info abt glass. So I guess it is a matter of the target a/c being at the right gate. I understand from mw that the viewing gallery has gone too. Hope to see more of your PEN shots.
  9. You noticed. Sorry for the quality. That was my last holiday with a film camera. The glass was plain and much better than those at Changi transit that give greenish tint but when I had the roll of film developed, this was the result together with another shot of someone parasailing from hotel balcony. After this fiasco, I went digital.
  10. Dear friends, Have a question for you. When I was at PEN Bayan Lepas airport way back in 2002, the restricted area had wonderful photog friendly glass beside the boarding gates where one could take a picture like this Does the photog friendly glass next to the boarding gates still remain? Or has it like SIN been replaced by nightmarish tinted/photog unfriendly glass? Thank you.
  11. Wonderful Panda. Glad you finally got what you had been waiting for.
  12. 19/5/08 Vesak Day saw the Red One visiting again as QR638 from Doha. She last visited SIN two days ago.
  13. 17/5/08 I had the chance to observe what I believe to be the beginning of the end of Changi Viewing Mall (Central Apron Section) today. The writing was on the wall, rather the pile was in the ground. The first pile has been driven in heralding the commencement of retrofitting work to the mall. The outcome will be a new mall with photographer unfriendly glass. Also the end of the beginning as the last section of the original mall is retrofitted.
  14. 17/05/08 BR sent in their A332 operating flt BR225 from Taipei. The aircraft, B-16311, is in plain livery. Surprisingly, she parked at the central apron (gate D32) in full view of the public today. BR does not normally park its aircraft at this cul-de-sac for reasons unknown.
  15. B-HOY, the former Asia's World City, visited today in new paint. [/img]
  16. 12/3/2008 Cathay's Asia's World City B-KPF visited SIN in unspeakable weather operating CX739 to HKG. Nice livery. Fablee
  17. Thanks, Pieter for the compliment. Walter, she was operating QF75 from Denpasar and Perth.
  18. YD came this evening as QF75. Thanks to Liam for info.
  19. Lion Air sends in her new Dreamliner liveried B737-900ER on the JT150 service today, the 6th of January 2008.
  20. That's an excellent night shot, Hoe Jyh.
