Is 9M-AFO operating into SIN during the next few days? Been trying to spot her. Thank you.

Couldn't resist sharing these two shots of VP-BKJ, arriving as TSO9745 from Moscow at 0845h this morning (31May11).
Beautiful shots from Crowne, Bob. Missed your pictures.

Hi That's one beautiful angle. I am very curious how you got this angle. Thank you

What is your difficulty? The A380-800 is a very distinctive aircraft. Take a good look at it and I am sure that you will know it when you see it at airports or in the air. Here is another photo to help you!

Hi Flee Welcome to Changi and Crowne Plaza. Which floor did you take these shots from? Btw r u using a d700 or d7000?

Delightful pixs, Danny. Thanks for posting. Always wanted to get up close with Taiwanese fighter a/c. Would the F-16s be the B model? Is that an F-5E? Was that the only a/c on static display in Hualien? Thank you.

BTW, SQ's latest A333 delivery, 9V-STK should be in Changi anyday now...
STK was delivered and arrived in SIN as SQ330 on Tues 16/3.

Indeed a worrying news. The following article probably give a better picture on what actually happened from a spotter's perspective.
FYI, beside radio scanner, they used AirNav Radarbox which in some country is illegal to operate.
Thanks for the link, KianHong. Just out of curiosity. Why didnt the MH pilots realise that the left engine had failed? Shdn't the instruments have told them? What if they had not been notified and then set the left engine to TOGA?

Been long time not see pictures from Uncle KC Sim...
Agree with you there. Uncle KC Sim, miss your always remarkable pictures even of ordinary subiects. Plese do post as long as you are spotting. Are you abroad or just busy?

I suddenly had the urge to sing Eminem's song "Will the real Dreamliner please stand up ... please stand up..." when I saw this arcraft.
Well caught specials. You should have sung it and recorded it in MP3 format to be appended here so we can all download and enjoy it. Sure to be No1 hit here on MalaysianWings.

Sorry, its 9M-AFJ instead.
Actually, in my honest opinion, 9M-AHJ sounded better to me while it lasted Don't know if you can work out why

I think i saw you sitting on that part of the economy cabin, I maybe wrong as I stood near the lavatory waiting to freshen up before landing.
I see. I was beginning to admire your deductive powers until I read your post Yes I was at 61A with 62A/C being vacant. Turning and banking away from OT, I must
say I was surprised to find substantial reflections from the glass of the YPPH VM even in bright sunlight. Also the planes are lit very dimly at night. Great job with that USAF B737 from the VM
PS I will sift thru my cabin pixes and see if I can spot your rear profilr
-
Oh we were on the same flight. Forgive my curiosity but I am really intrigued. What has led you to guess that I was in 62A/C?
-
G'day everyone. Did anyone get 9V-STH (operating SQ225) landing in YPPH around 640am on 3 Dec? Quite a rough approach and landing. Left engine could be heard spooling up again and again on very final approach.Asking since I saw Greg's pix taken at 608am with reasonable lighting. Was there a strong crosswind that morning? Thank you.

Camera all will be by my side during exam.?
Dear friend,
Do not forget and bring camera into the exam room. Invigilator may not like it
-
Agree with you, KC. Its unique. That atmosphere may materialise in SIN if the haze continues
-
Beautiful regoless Twin Otters indeed Way to go, KC
-
Hoe Jyh, that's one surprising catch
-
KC, thanks for lens info. Your head on wingtip to wingtip shot of SQ A345 is especially beautiful. Surprised that it could fit into 17mm.
-
Hi KC. Stunning shots that can be had from the ramp. Out of curiosity, what lens did you use for these shots? Thank you.
-
Ahem. Your "girls"?I suspect he means his daughters.
Have since learnt from 9v forum that B-16309 is now in normal livery. Yoong, you may want to get a nice print for your girls
