A sad day indeed... I had the pleasure of driving him and Mai around when they were in Kuching! A kind and cheerful man! My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family...

Nothing much at MH lounge really...

Based on their website...if you booked on code share flights...you will be directed to 3rd party lounge. But if you book directly from JAL...it is Cathay Pacific's lounge...in KLIA for ex KUL flights.

As opposed to "meal"? Was on KA 425 HKG to KUL...the tray was missing Bread Roll and Butter and Fruits...Instead we were give a yummy packet of Coffee Butter Biscuits and Häagen Das ice cream...I had the fish...kinda bland...hope to get better meal on the flight back.

On the contrary, in my experience...OD1622 was pushed back on time but departed late due to weather...I was late arriving from the previous HKG on KA...despite arriving at the counter at 5.45pm for the 6.30pm flight...they accepted my luggage and let me proceed to the departure gate...👍...the pizza they served was hot and deliciously appetising...except the apple crumble...which was a little undercook...

In my previous experience...if no one volunteers...the last people to check in...I guessing this happened on their regional subcontracted airline...not their mainline...

Around this coming Raya...1 way to KCH from KUL is 899 in Y...while C is only 499...crazy right?

Not to mention the weird pricing! How can Economy Flex be 899 1 way when Business Flex is 499????

AK starting KCH-PNK in June. Not the most exciting of routes. At the moment routes are flown by XN Xpressair of Indonesia. MASwings has long withdrawn from Pontianak.

And reducing frequency on the KCH and BKI sectors...

Feels like we have been "sold"...does this mean less job opportunities for locals?
