  1. Fully enclosed for total privacy once the door is closed at the 4 F suites.
  2. Yes. The description is pretty vague. The spy said it looks like the J seats on the B738. I think she is referring to the colour i.e. blue. The Pinnacle seat looks like this. http://beaerospace.com/products/seating-products/main_cabin_pinnacle/
  3. All the destination pairs effected are major cities and towns in Sabah and Sarawak. Hardly "rural", which MASwings should be serving. So this termination is much welcome and a good business decision for all parties.
  4. 5 December 2017 if my sources are on point. Then on 9 December is the inaugural to PEN and BKK.
  5. Requesting for a trip report from those who will be on the inaugural. Thank you in advance.
  6. SIN, PEN and BKK on the A359 can now be purchased! Inaugural on 9 December 2017.
  7. This position now is like the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts. It is jinxed (by Tom Riddle). And no one stayed longer than 1 year. Each of them has a unique 'exit'. Hahahanat.
  8. Leaked by a spy at the MH Rumour Department: PB's first day as COO at Ryanair is 1 December 2017. http://www.thestar.com.my/business/business-news/2017/10/19/mas-never-ending-search-for-a-ceo/ "MAS never fails to excite, in that every two or three years, the national airline finds itself embroiled in either a restructuring, controversy or disaster. The sad thing this time around is that we Malaysians have to read about its CEO Peter Bellew’s planned departure from the Irish Times and the London Stock Exchange. He could have simply told everyone from the onset instead of denying two weeks ago that he was going to Ryanair." Drama.
  9. Via PEN or KUL, has that been done in the past/do we have a precedent (I mean a foreign airline serving 2 destinations in Malaysia as a tag on)?
  10. Oh yes definitely. This is the guy that Tony Pua is rambling about in FB. PB's comments in the blog entry sounded somewhat weird.
  11. C'mon. If they can fly to Krabi, I don't see why KK can't. I think Krabi is a lesser market than KK. Krabi airport handled 4 million pax in 2016 vs 7 million in BKI. I think QR would be keen to venture into Borneo for the first time and where else to start a footprint in Borneo if not at its largest airport.
  12. NST was made to publish a clarification on its daring article above. https://www.nst.com.my/news/nation/2017/10/292286/clarification-new-straits-times-report-regarding-malaysia-airlines-ceo#cxrecs_s “Khazanah Nasional Berhad (“Khazanah”) refers to the New Straits Times report, “Khazanah meddling led to Bellew exit?” published on 17 October 2017. "We wish to clarify that the speculation based on unnamed sources in the article is both erroneous and misleading. https://www.nst.com.my/business/2017/10/292223/shahril-omar-saddiq-among-contenders-mas-ceo-post#cxrecs_s And the top contenders for the new CEO position are: 1. Datuk Seri Shahril Mokhtar - Mass Rapid Transit Corp (MRT Corp) CEO 2. Omar Siddiq Amin Noer Rashid - MAB's current chief financial officer
  13. I can access the website but then it went blank after I clicked on "17/10/2017 Media Statement Regarding Peter Bellew". Not sure if this is the cause of the blockage. Anyway, this is the screenshot of the blocked news stolen from Tamizi.
  14. Congrats to PEN. We've been discussing about this since 2007/2008 when nastar is still working with QR. It finally materialises. Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which features 22 seats in Business Class and 232 seats in Economy Class Flight Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday Doha (DOH) to Penang (PEN) QR850 departs: 02:30 arrives 14:30 Penang (PEN) to Doha (DOH) QR851 departs: 20:30 arrives 23:20 Next in line has to be BKI.
  15. Apologise and reworded. Was meant to emphasize on the "double lost" per article below. https://www.nst.com.my/news/nation/2017/10/292248/khazanah-meddling-led-bellew-exit "Bellew is the second MAB CEO to prematurely quit after running the airline for a short time. His predecessor, Christoph Mueller, resigned less than a year into his three-year contract. A source told New Straits Times that the reason for both Bellew and Mueller leaving was apparently due to alleged interference by Khazanah in the running of the national carrier. “Khazanah, in actual fact, was micro-managing Malaysia Airlines. There were cases where Khazanah bypassed the MAB board,” the source said. Mueller’s sudden exit in April last year, which shocked the aviation industry, was apparently due to irreconcilable differences between Khazanah and the German aviation turnaround expert, the source added. At the time, Khazanah tried to play down Mueller’s resignation, saying the 55-year-old German’s decision was due to a change in his personal circumstances. It is believed that Bellew, like Mueller before him, could not agree on some of the decisions by Khazanah over the overall running of the national carrier."
  16. He is indeed leaving. So it took just 32 days. Always trust your gut feeling.
  17. Apalah bala yang menimpa ni? Why can't we have good things to last? Another double lost.
