Hi Daniel, For RWY04 action, you can spot from the bus depot located at Batu Maung, however there are chances for the police to ask you to leave. My favourite spot is at the beach to get the approaching aircraft while I can stay under the shade and enjoy the sea breeze. No one will bother you here but in exchange for that, you will miss out all the departure action. RWY22 usually in operation from noon till evening. Limited place to spot, you actually have to go into someone's compound to take photo. 4-step ladder is required to clear the double fencing. You can refer to the first page of this thread to get some idea what kind of shot you will expect.

On my last flight KUL-PEN, I did not purchase hot seat but I was given the emergency seat without me requesting it. At first I seated at the middle and the seat which next to the window was vacant. However, FA did not comment after I switched to the window seat. In my opinion, the emergency row should not be left vacant.

Moo Moo spot is a goner as well, both spot now are now covered by tall lalang-lalang (need some help in the translation to english please ) Just beside the Moo Moo spot is the tractor/crane maintenance facility, you can snap from there but it is a private property. This spot should able to get RWY04 touchdown but it is quite some distance away, not an ideal spot to me. Further down the perimeter road which near to Dell, there is a spot for catching the Jumbo on rotation. The CX Cargo above was taken from this spot, It will be better if you have a ladder to clear to fence else just panjat[climb] on your kereta or motorbike You can hide under the tree when there is no traffic but the river nearby have some bearable smell.

The chair reminds me of my niece's baby feeding chair. Might as well remove all chairs and airlines start ordering freighters instead of the normal passenger plane, passenger could only hold on the strap that hangs from above just like the LRT. A330F surely going to be a big hit. LOL !
