Pulling away with Afterburners, those tanks must be heavy! Landing with a high nose up pitch!

  10. "We are very disappointed to lose Christoph as CEO but we fully understand his reasons and respect his need to do this," Malaysian Airlines Chairman Md Nor Yusof said It said that Mueller had set up a strong management team which would be the foundation for a successful turnaround http://www.bbc.com/news/business-36088834 Above statement might be political but i believe as of now any theory of him leaving are just pure speculative. Lets just give it some time.
  11. All seems rosy and beautiful at the start. Just like all things are. Didn't expect them to roll so quick though, and so sudden
  12. Some reports mentioned that the tail hit the ground and crashed on the second landing attempt. The video meanwhile shows a steep almost vertical dive. Wonder what actually happened
  13. Wonderful coverage there guys! Thanks for bringing the experience to us here at mwings
  14. Either way the current buzz online that worse, seems to make it like a pilot error is horribly blown out of proportion.
  15. I believe there has been mass confusion over the debris findings. The flaperon found was confirmed to be from MH370 The orher debris found and investigated after that were the ones uncofirmed. The few days after the flaperon findings, everyone was claiming to have found parts and debris. None were verified as true though
  16. "Malaysia is convinced that the flaperon found in the Reunion Island belongs to Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Flight MH370, after its team of experts confirmed a maintenance seal on the plane's part matches MAS' records." What is a maintainence seal?
  17. Spotted her on the tarmac after some heads-up from FB. Turns out to be the gov jet for Asean Summit carrying a certain Sergey Lavrov Pic taken from the ramp after departure drop off area
  18. since im insanely lazy to upload to photobucket after my last bad experience there, feel free to browse some of my photos here. Not the best of photos but enjoyed every moment of it so far! https://www.facebook.com/iwan.shafiee/media_set?set=a.10152632927786712.1073741841.631291711&type=3&uploaded=10 Yeah was kinda hoping they would stay or at least bid farewell with a special flypast.
  19. Was barely a kilometer away from the crash site today. Couldnt get any visual as the collision was behind us and there were trees blocking our view. Heard a loud cracking sound and was shocked to hear an explosion soon after. Something i hope i wont experience again. Im so glad there were no casualties
  20. Ill be there fitri. Lets make a list of mwings membrs who will be there during LIMA. So far we have: LIMA 2015 Iwan 15/3 to 22/3 Sascha 15-3 to ? Fitri 20/3 (day trip) Feel free to add to the list.
  21. Sascha, Dinner would be great! will be arriving in Langkawi on Sunday Morning. Hope to get more info on rehearsal timings. its 12.30PM according to the Air traffic controller schedule. Still a little bit disappointed by the last minute cancellation from the Russian knights.
  22. Whatttttt??? No russian knights?? Now thats a big letdown for me.was looking forward to watching them again this time around..sigh..also notice that there will be no typhoon in the list
  23. Would be great if they had flares at LIMA. witnessing fighters dispensing flares is quite a rare sight for me. (Those tiny 'sparks' from smokey bandits doesnt count) Well, sure hope they dont pull out. Although the J10 arent really pretty to look at, this might be a rare opportunity for us
  24. The current list does show 1st august as part of the aerial display programme with 7 aircrafts. Either way still looks juicy
