  3. most noticeable among spotters...
  4. my condolences to the pilot families. this is very interesting. while the Russian might have scrapped its MiG-29 jets, what happen to those country still flying them? most interesting RMAF still operates those jets...
  5. what about the AF brand new A330, in service far much less than MH A330 and yet it ended up at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.
  6. caught her this afternoon...
  7. I agree with Iggy, the important thing is everyone is still alive. there are many more incidence out there far more worst than what those passengers experience on this particular MH flight. even the best of a/c be it Airbus or Boeing or whatever can encounter this sort of problems.
  8. some shots from 03/08/09... B747SP..a classic.. no more in her Asia Game livery..
  9. Just wondering, does the GM's of the various department in MH ever talk to each other when it comes to business planning/future expansion? and do they did any research on whatever plan they have before executing it? or are those GM's makan gaji buta (sorry for the harsh words, but that's how I feel at the moment)...
  10. I've been following the story, very interesting story. more like a triller story and a bit of action. wonder if there's any Hollywood director interested in making a movie out of this, who knows this movie can beat The International or even Enemy of The States...
  11. Hmmmm...was around KUL this afternoon, weather was not very cooperative and thus no wx station visit. MIR, when did the RUSLAN arrived?
  12. There is a big red signboard by the roadside in front of Bunga Raya Complex and after the roundabout in front of Petronas Jet-A Fuel storage tank which says "Kawasan Larangan" or something of that nature. Meaning to say that the whole stretch of the road is restricted from public, and that include the Weather Station and the Treatment plant along the road. Those who used the road are in fact trespassing into a restricted area. So now, why are the buses, taxis and the civvies cars are allowed to use that stretch of restricted area without being harassed by the Bulis?? p/s: I did asked a Bulisman the same question once and he can't answer my question. He just smile..
  13. interesting news. but what about other airports around the world?
  14. very true Norman, as there was Bulis at the entrance to WX station sitting inside the car enjoying themselves watching AK A320 and MH B734 landing...
  15. Was at WX station this afternoon. It was a hot & windy day with good lighting. As for the traffic, well, its all about AK A320 and MH B734 and more AK A320 and more MH B734 until this fella come to cheer me up...its a C-L-A-S-S-I-C.... then it back to normal with more AK A320 and MH B734 then this fella showed up, coming back from OOL.. and back to normal again with more AK A320 and MH B734 until this fella came in.. with the incoming schedule showing AK, AK, MH, MH, AK, AK, MH, MH...i decide to 'beredar' myself...
  16. Nice touch down shots of the Raiders bro... looks like the Raiders being RAIDED by MWingers for the last 2 days...
  17. it was a hazy and gloomy and dull afternoon in KUL on Friday (26/06/09)..... this fella rotate very early as if it is flying empty and yes, she definitely empty. she's on a rescue mission to KCH, as an MH A330 had a hydraulic failure upon landing in KCH earlier in the afternoon. she safely landed in KUL around 7pm or 8pm in the evening and among her passenger was my housemate.
  18. Chaity, here's your UPS rocket from last Sunday...hehehehe!
  19. Aiiiyaaakkkk Chaity, your UPS rocket still in my CF..
  20. Yup, it did but it landed slightly earlier than that, around 3.30pm and went straight to Bunga Raya Complex upon touch down on rwy 14L.
  21. if RMAF got sorties...then..SZB here I come....
  22. care to explain that part?
  23. if quality is an issue, Airbus won't have open up an assembly plant in China in the first place. for assembly work, there's definitely employee of Airbus Europe supervising the work and definitely there'll be strict guideline and SOP that have to be adhere to. a lot is at stake for Airbus here, just imagine those birds assemble in China drop off from the sky one by one, what will it do to Airbus reputation?
  24. was curious when Capt Radzi mention the "we" part, as Capt Sakai was definitely not around as he had a plane to catch. my main suspect was Chaity.. and it turn out to be true...hehehehe! anyway, good catch guys and thanks for sharing those beautiful shots...
