  6. Hi all, US Navy E-6B 163919 returned to Perth landing at 06.05hrs today after an overnight mission. The aircraft departed from Perth at 19.45hrs last night 9/10 as 'Razz 087' flying its mission over the Indian Ocean presumably to comms with a nuclear powered submarine somewhere out there in the depths below. Here is a sequence of the landing from this morning: ] Followed at 06.08hrs by Singapore A330 9V-STB Soon after SQ had landed the weather turned cloudy & overcast, glad I made the effort to get this rare opportunity to photograph this jet not once but twice. Regards Greg

  13. Cheers Min, Sadly I dont think much thought went into it!! I think more aviation enthusiast's around the world could have come up with a better proposition than that. Wonder how much it cost!!!
  14. Air Mauritius latest aircraft A330-202 3B-NBL c/n 1057 ex: F-WWYF was spotted outside hangar at Toulouse, France sporting a new colour scheme on 16.09.09. Looks very similiar to Garuda's latest livery! Photo can be seen here: http://www.skyliner-aviation.de/showphotos.main?LC=nav2 Cheers Greg
  15. Please dont worry, rest assured all will be resolved in due course, please can you ring me tommorrow between 9am - 2pm is best if you can , as I work shift work around those hours on 9309-3535 or after 6pm in the evening. My e-mail as in my previous post is there if you need to contact me also. Look forward to hearing from you tommorrow. Regards Greg
  16. Min, Can you e-mail your last posting on MWings please, including ALL photos (as an attachment) relating to you getting aparking fine TONIGHT. I have spoken with Geoff Thomas who will be in contact with Alana at WAC tommorrow. DONOT Pay the fine! We shall reverse the fine for you! But please ring me ASAP Tonight 93093535 and e-mail everything as per your post on MWings ASAP. My E-Mail: b747spjet@hotmail.com Regards Greg
  17. Hey guys thanks for sharing your pictures! The T-28 Trojan VH-PFM looks brilliant, and nice to see they've now added some nose art. Very disapointed with the number of aircraft on static display only 9, not even a PC-9 from Pearce! And that 'weather' its really ANNOYING every weekend's been miserable for weeks. Cheers Greg
  18. Just remember when parking on the road outside or near that building to be courteous and to leave enough room for vehicles (both cars & trucks) which may need to access the driveway as trucks turning circles are much wider than cars. Thanks goes to GT for his assistance in regards to the parking. Cheers Greg
  19. Perth Airport Parking Update: As you know 3 vehicles had their wheels clamped for illegal parking in front of a newly constructed hangar approx 3 weeks ago now, as a result of this I wanted some clarification to see whether or not we as aircraft enthusiasts could or were able to park our vehicles without recrimination near this location. A meeting was being hosted between Geoff Thomas, a Aviation Journo with our morning weekly newspaper and airport operators WAC on Fri 4.09.09. As I had not heard back from Geoff since that date I decided to ask what if anything came from the discussions held. His response from my e-mail posting earlier today is below: Hi Greg and All: I have been assured by Alana that we may park up the end of that roda BUT not in the car park where that hangar is as that is private lease hold. There may be some more works surrounding the fence and that fast folwing creek - but I am not sure. However I am sure you are all aware there is another way to the mound via Great Eastern Highway. The other day I was there and a guy was driving his Nissan XTrail along a track running his dog!! So for the time being all is fine to park cars etc. * I must emphasize his last few words "For the time being" all is fine to park* read into that what you will! MIR: Thanks for your reply on night photography, and hope to catch up out there one fine & sunny weekend soon! Regards Greg
  20. Hi Mir, Thanks for your explanation on your settings for the C-17 night photos you took recently. Would I be right in assuming that this would be the appropriate formula for all night photography, or would the settings vary depending upon the location ie: (indoor / outdoor), weather conditions, lens size etc... If you could advise any further it would be appreciated. Regards Greg
  21. Absoutely brilliant night shots there Mir! Can I ask what settings you used to get those pictures. Well Done & cheers Greg
  22. One can only presume the occupier of the newly constructed hangar with limited parking bays out the front has made a complaint and the parking 'police' have acted. I think until we can a clear and concise message from WAC as to where we can park lawfully without intimidation I wouldnt be going there in the immediate future, unless of course your fit enough to walk a couple of Km's in both directions to get there and back. Perhaps an alternative in the meantime may by off Great Eastern Highway Bypass or nearby in the surrounding suburbs to get your photographs. Rest assured I get back to you when I hear back from Geoff, hopefully within a day or so. Cheers Greg
  23. Guys, Just a 'Warning' if you intend to visit the 'mound' at any time in the near future DONOT park your car and leave it unattended > 3 cars were wheel clamped earlier this week with an infringement fee payable A$150! for parking in a parking area in front of a newly constructed hangar. We are seeking clarification from WAC at a meeting tommorrow 4/09 being held by enthusiast & newspaper journalist Geoff Thomas. When we have a clearer idea as to what the 'Go' is we will post accordingly. If you choose to go to the 'mound' your only option is park in the carpark and walk. This weekend's spotting perhaps might be best postponed till we get a response back from WAC. Cheers Greg
