Haha except Comrade Xis ride is no longer the good old B747-400. B747-8i rego B-2479 (Air China) is the new VIP transport for the Chinese commies. It seems Comrade Xi is not even letting young Kim to use their older VIP toy, B-2472, a B747-400 in Air China livery.Apparently the Supreme Leader did not want to be seen arriving in a smaller narrowbody (IL-62) when it's a given that POTUS will drop in on the big mamma AF1
So he rather get a lift on Comrade Xi's ride instead, said comrade being all too keen to remind all that he is paying attention to all that is unfolding in his backyard
That is what I read la .....
Heard their IL-62M is not allowed to land in The Lion City? If they wanna size up POTUS, they should consider be the first A380-800 ACJ operator...

Kim Jong Un arrived by Air Chinas B747-400, B-2447
-
There's an E4B at Subang now. Anyways the dprk convoy includes an Air China's A330-200 as well so bassically more than 3 widebodies aircrafts deployed.
What is the role of the E-4B in this case? Strategic command post of the US President?

Air Koryo IL-62 (P-885) is currently off the coast of Mersing, heading south.
P-885 is VIP configured, so it is likely that the leader is inside.
The CA B747-400 is not VIP configured, so it may have been a flight to ferry the other officials, while Kim Jong Un might be inside the IL-62M.
Can anyone here track the movement of Trump's Boeing VC-25 (747-200B) Air Force One?
-
Seems that North Korean officials (possibly including Kim Jong Un) is heading to Singapore onboard Air China's B747-400 registration B-2447.
B-2447 departed Beijing and headed into FNJ (Pyongyang). Now she is on her way from FNJ to SIN (routed via PEK).
Check it out here

MTX (Negaraku livery) schedule to arrive KUL at 1500 LT
They better get rid of the 1 Malaysia logo... Najib isn't around as a PM, might as well just drop it.
-
My flight on October 1st is an A332 from KUL-HKG. So HKG is a destination.
So far HKG, BKK, KCH and BKI are 9M-MTU and MTV's destinations.
I suspect May 05, 2018's flight to BKI (MH7042 and MH7047) were GE14 chartered flights.
-
BKI is now the land of B737NGs and A320CEOs...
-
-
exactly. since they are priced the same I used to consciously avoid MI whenever possible. But after a while it no longer mattered because of how short the flight was and that was when timing became the determining factor.
Wonder if their turquoise colour seatings will be changed to SQ seat fabric colours?
-
I thought the 737-300F would be the last narrowbody in SQ colours.
Yeah you might be right, I completely forgot about this.
737-300F in SQ cargo

In terms of pax narrowbody it was definitely the 757-200
When did they phase out the 757-200 and 737-300F?
-
Look forward to seeing B737-800 and B737-8Max in SQ colors.
The last narrow body painted in SQ colours should be B757-200 of the late 1980s to 90s.

Sichuan Airlines co-pilot "sucked halfway" out of cockpit, captain saysSHANGHAI (Reuters) - The co-pilot of a Sichuan Airlines flight that was forced to make an emergency landing on Monday was "sucked halfway" out of the plane after a cockpit windshield blew out, media reported, citing the aircraft's captain.
Liu Chuanjian, hailed a hero on social media after having to land the Airbus A319 manually, told the Chengdu Economic Daily his aircraft had just reached a cruising altitude of 32,000 feet when a deafening sound tore through the cockpit.
The cockpit experienced a sudden loss of pressure and drop in temperature and when he looked over, the cockpit's right windshield was gone.
"There was no warning sign. Suddenly, the windshield just cracked and made a loud bang. The next thing I know, my co-pilot had been sucked halfway out of the window," he was quoted as saying.
The co-pilot, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pulled back in. He suffered scratches and a sprained wrist, the Civil Aviation Administration of China said, adding that one other cabin crew member was also injured in the descent. None of the plane's 119 passengers was injured.

Everything about BN fell apart so quickly that it is almost becoming non-existent now...

I noticed that many commentators did not understand that AK/D7 might lose their AOCs and are still blaming him for being spineless. Many forgot what happened to that CEO of Supermax....
I think everyone has their own reasons and agenda. Malaysia is a democratic nation and should respect each other with their choices in life.

Well, if you are to believe the MH folks at BKI, more specifically those managing their lounge there, 9M-MTA has now morphed (regressively perhaps ?) to a hitherto unidentified A300 variant
Wow, this could possibly the A300 model which I saw during my childhood in MAS office in Kota Kinabalu.
There is also a cut-away model with seatings and etc. Along with a DC-10 IIRC?
Just checked. 9M-MTA is flying and she is being utilised regularly.

Just booked a flight with MH and MH432 KUL-HKG will be serviced by these ex-Air Berlin A330-200s during October 2018.
-
No need, they're here already...
Uh oh....
-
The plane is just in time for the increase of demand in the upcoming GE14 if many want to fly back to vote...
No, they are meant to be in time for Dhaka or Chittagong ad hoc charter flights instead.....
-
Btw, Project Amal is coming soon, only 4 of them are being used and other 2 will be retain at MAB fleet.
4 of them being used for what? Pilgrim charter?
-
Has these ex-AB birds arrived?
-
Aren't they using the A332 for KUL-AKL direct? The 332 would have been perfect for this route, I would have thought!

Couldn't agree more on this
Some people just have the unbelievable sense of entitlement with them.
She is lucky that she was on fairly gentle South East Asian airlines, which I think she took advantage of. Had it been a mainland carrier, she will be blacklisted from traveling for 3 years or taken away by force to a custody.
It's good that a Samaritan actually stood up to the woman.
Kim-Trump meeting in Singapore

Come to think of it, riding on P.R.Chinas metal is probably the safest bet for young Kim. If you check his routing, the flight tried to stay on Chinese airspace and Vietnamese airspace (another socialist nation) for as long as possible.
It goes to show that China is still influential when it comes to the business of their North Korean brethren. It is quite possible that China is footing the bill for the 747-400 transport. By the way, B-2447, a 23 year old B747-400, has headed back to Beijing after delivering young Kim to Singapore.
Trump has arrived in Singapore on the same day but at night.
His IL-62M (P-885) has arrived in Singapore too.
