  1. Amos, I think it means good news for you since you travel quite a bit on this route?
  2. hope you don't get carried away when you are doing your duty
  3. Oh wow......thanks for bringing this Azahan and TK. Azahan, you mentioned replacement of Trent? Can you please elaborate this?
  4. Especially with the personal greetings from the "big brother"
  5. Wow..... 74 members as of today..... Welcome Sim Lim Shen
  6. On 777-2H6/ERs C-class is: AC DFG JK Y-class is: AC DEFGH JK On 747-4H6s F-class is: AC HK C-class is: AC DFG HK Y-class is: ABC DEFG HJK
  7. Very informative photos brother Azahan Did you friend mentione to you which 777 will be painted with blue special livery?
  8. C'mon Gavin, you could have just bought one from Penang. CF cards are not that expensive and you can add one to your collection When it comes to executing people, that tool can be really useful.
  9. They probably realised that it has been quiet and they wanted to bring people back. I have a friend who was banned and kicked out of the AM not long after they were established, because he pissed T.W. off. They found his IP address and they blocked his IP from visiting the site. Nowdays, he is allowed to visit the site again. What does that tell us, Gavin?
  10. Tharan, man, you cracked me up Quote from AM: "Dear caring moderators, I have a feeling that your server might have some problem. My earlier post have been deleted, same goes to a few others. Thanks a lot and i hope you can rectiry the problem." Their limits and patience are being tested upon
  11. Just to clarify a bit with Sing Yew's post above. Sorry Sing Yew... 9M-MRP and MRQ was delivered with new C-class seats and AVOD systems. They were not retrofitted aircraft. Most of us here probably knew this already....
  12. Yes Mushrif bro you are right about the numbers..... I have always forgotten the number of Airbuses of MAS.....
  13. For some strange reason, my web browser doesn't allow me to post anything on that site anymore...... is it me or the machine? hehe Tharan, i think they might try obtaining your IP address and hack your PC now ( Oops, I am going to get banned......!!!!)
  14. Oh yeah, now that you mentioned it Mushrif, I did remember about the "new Malaysian Aviation forum" on the other site. Later in the day I couldn't see it anymore. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it, I thought they must be shitting bricks. I wonder if Jewel (or however you spelt it) and Tzewei had already registered on this site with a different username Tharan, I totally agree with you up there.
  15. PTVs do not come cheap and it will be a huge investment for MAS. MAS owns about 15 A330-300s and a couple of leased ones. All the A330-300s do not have PTVs, whereas the A330-200s do because previous owners had them installed. A330s aren't MAS' flagship aircraft and there is a question regarding the need of PTVs for a short flight. Airbus A330-300s are mostly utilised on regional routes. The entertainment system altogether will cost MAS a lot of money. Same with the B737-400s if they put overhead screens on it too.
  16. A few months ago, there was a rumour about MAS wet-leasing A320s, but now the rumour or truth is that MAS will be leasing in 3x 737-800s (2 with winglets and one without). Is MAS still wet-leasing the A320s? Cheers
  17. Thats a very good question! I wonder too.....
  18. Not that I have ever flew with CX, but CX must be really good. Many Hong Kongers criticised Cathay's staff only treated Caucasian passengers with a smile and not Chinese/Asian passengers...... I guess things must have improved.
  19. All 5 star Airlines are Asian airlines!! Of course, the middle east is also part of Asia I knew sooner or later, Malaysia Airlines will be a 5 star airline. I am proud of the achievement of my national carrier! Well done MAS!!
  20. Thats very nice of you, Effendy But you probably will...... at another forum I was told to use the edit function to change the contents rather than making short remarks or post another thread
  21. Couldn't they paint the other 744 in blue special livery Then two 777s - One in hibiscuit red and one in blue? So that they do promote the two classes, although the 777s may not have F class.... but hey, the most important thing is MAS have it somewhere Rumour has it that three 744 will be painted in Hibiscuit scheme - 9M-MPD Seremban(already), 9M-MPB Shah Alam (currently) and 9M-MPC Kuantan (due soon). 9M-MPJ is already installed with new F-class and C-class but painted in normal livery.
  22. http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/afp_asiapac A piece of old news..... There will be a LCC soon at KLIA, but not too sure where it will be located, hopefully not within the area designated for 2nd satellite building
  23. Hi Dreamliner, It wasn't me who set up this site..... it was Effendy and Gavin Welcome to MalaysianWings where you don't find double standard moderator and administrator who act like dictator leadership and at times practice favouritism to their buddies. Agree with Gavin above, everyone has their opinion and there is no need to really serious the whole time! Enjoy.....
  24. I thought JAL flies their 77W (777-300ER) into SIN (schedule) and occasionally to KUL for crew familiarisation purposes? There is a photo or two at A.net or Jp.net which is shot by one member here if I am not wrong.
  25. Oh man..... how I wish to go spotting with you guys....... Azahan, Fendy and Gavin, nice photos!! Keep ém coming! Azahan, which one is the next 777 going into maintenance? M Radzi Desa ka?
