  1. Happening weekend when SP departed to Geneva. The weather was 'perfect' The crowd. All waiting and in position to photograph through and over the fence. SP rolling. As she is heavy on fuel, she rotated quite late at Rwy15 and had a shallow climb. Dan lain-lain planes to photograph. Alliance Fokker 100 delivery flight to Brisbane via Kupang and Townsville
  2. Raj. I remembered you posted the two SPs long long time ago, probably 10 years back. Can you share your pics again pls?
  3. Dropped by to catch some birds and makan.
  4. Havent seen LV Sands SP to SZB for a long time. She arrived yesterday from UTP. Wonder she is coming in wtih vitamin M or going out with it?
  5. A short visit to SZB yesterday.
  6. 'Google', N2767, flew in yesterday afternoon, just before the thunderstorm hitting SZB. According to FR, she came in from Gimpo.
  7. Throwback. If the 747 is the Queen of The Skies, the 225 should be the Queen Momma of the Skies. After few hours of delay, she is AOG-ed. And she is HUNGRY!!! And needs to be FED!!!. Luckily Chinese Breakfast is around.
  8. Freshly delivered from Toulouse, Malaysia Airlines fourth A359 XWB delivered in less than half a year. We were surprised to see her taking this taxy route, passing by anjung tinjau, towards hangar. Private B737 (Sino Jet) taxying for departure.
  9. Some traffice actions over the weekend with BKI taikors in KUL.
  10. A good afternoon for some 33 action. AQM De'Xandra perfume. Guess Rose Gold is the new Black these days. It has a different starboard layout. Anyone wanna do online trading for forex? There was a time when most spotters were not enthusiastic to photograph this tigerair as it was too 'boring and norm'. But when the airline merged with Scoot in July 2017 into Scoot brand, any spotter will any take the opportunity to photograph the hybrid scoot/tiger livery or this 'still in original tigerair BUT not for long livery'. How circumstances has changed the spotters' mindset and perception. It made us appreciate it more before it disappears for good. I admit I am one of the many. Guilty as charged.
  11. When Cebu's A321 did their circuit trainings recently, I would say 'all' accessible spots in SZB were covered.
  12. She badly needs a good scrub..... Departing back to KUL after a short maintenance stay. High rollers onboard.
  13. The older sister of Iraqi YI-ASA (ex-MH) B744, YI-AQQ has been making some rare appearences into KUL recently. She usually flies around the Middle East region. Uncommon to see Mahan Air departing during day light. Heavily loaded SW, departing for Baku.
  14. After weeks and weeks of anticipation, she is finally here from Zurich. One of six A332 on lease to MH. 9M-MTV, ex Air Berlin D-AXB.
  15. Some old boat spotting pictures from 2015. It's sad that this iconic spotting location is closed indefinitely for HKG third runway construction.
  16. Sultan Johor's plane arriving from TGG Finally, there is an Airbus 777....
  17. The almost 2 year old livery. How long more will it last? He lives on in the hearts of AirAsia family and in the local aviation community.
  18. While 32L departure is still in operations until May, the late afternoon spotting session these days are usually met with a mix of excellent to gloomy weather. Do be careful at times when there is lightning.
  19. Surprise visitor yesterday. HZ-SKY1 (note:heavily ps-ed)
  20. After maintenance, time to go back home After many moons not appearing in SZB, glad to see one arriving. Early morning departure to Singapore. Didn't know that Philippines Air Force has CN295M
  21. Sitting in the corner of Jalan Kampung and perpendicular to Jalan Bukit Bintang, this B737-300 was formerly owned by Lloyd Aereo Boliviano (LAB) - CP2313 from 1996-2007. Lorena Air of Indonesia was suppose to take delivery of this aircraft as PK-LSE from lessor CSDS Aircraft Sales & Leasing in the late 2000s. However, the airline never became operational. She still carries her lessor's rego N730CS. Like some aircrafts in the world who 'has a second life'; the likes in Sweden(747-Jumbo Hotel), Thailand(L1011-Chang Chui Market), India(A320-Hawai Adda), Ghana(DC10-La Tanta Restaurant) and many others, she will be turned into a restaurant called Plane In The City / SKYLAND Kuala Lumpur. Not many details are availalbe in the media/google about this setup. Maybe, the restaurant is managed by the same team who runs Dinner In The Sky KL, since both are located in the same compound. Hope they don't serve EY inflight meals when they open up for business.
  22. Gloomy Gloomy afternoon weather for the past few days. Interesting to see this Universal Ent. A318 here.
  23. This rare and very rich bird tried sneaking out of KUL to SIN. Gueesed that the overnight parking charges there may be more expensive than here.
  24. CNY Day 2. This elusive Crystal is finally caught in daylight departure; albeit dramatic skies. She was schedule to Nairobi, Kenya on a Chinese New Year Aircruise named 'Wonders of Africa Safari Adventure' from 17-23 Feb. For you guys info, the package cost USD28K per person based on double occupancy. (https://www.crystalcruises.com/StaticPages/aircruises-asia/en/index.html) Food services were catered by Brahim's and were loaded at the F8 Remote bay. Pushed back commenced at about 1440 and towed to terminal. People at the MTB had a good view of her as she was on hold at that position for about 20 mins before towed into Bay B2. Then the skies turned off the lights. And the skies being dramatic and poured onto us spotters here from 1645 for about 20 minutes. After a few minutes of delay and luckily the rain stopped, she taxied out for her departure to Nairobi. For thoes who are interested to catch her arrival on 23/2, her arrival is at about 0800LT. Do track her on FR24
