dang.. went to TGG that night, but from 7.00pm until 9.30pm no flights at all... today only found out that few nights already got power failure and no night flights in/out of TGG... what a bummer..

indeed.. as one of the promises during the last general election, is to bring "never-seen-before" development to tganu.. even im from tgg, never fully agreed so much money spent.. its true that the current terminal is way too small but now it seems to be way too big... no ILS, but rather large terminal, the east coast expressway to ktganu underway... wonder what Deris Jusoh will do to make the airport looks "not too overboard"? perhaps he's preparing for the 2008 SUKMA? or he's planning to buy a State official jet? perhaps he's getting bored building the schools, so need new project... lol.. KBR is just 3 hrs drive away...so one of the airports could be upgraded to Intl (according to the East Coast Corridor masterplan).. KBR got the pax, but not yet "politically-right"??? KBR got the expansion done already with ILS and bigger terminal.. hmmm, this would be interesting...

Looks like it is the current LCCT with some expansion in the international section and at the domestic arrival... the light green is the current terminal, while the darker green is the proposed expansion... looks like the warehouse terminal is set to stay...

there are 4 aerogates at JHB. Senai is operated by Senai Airport Terminal Svcs Sdn Bhd i.s.o MAHB.

Its a silly idea indeed. but they say AK will use Melaka as new hub to the sumatras (medan, pekanbaru etc)? .. perhaps after this we'll have ipoh for hub to india? kuantan as hub to indochina? LOL well. it's money spent... better spend it wisely.
