  1. When it comes to training, they have the latest and the greatest equipment when it comes to their simulators, including all the necessary windshear / microburst exercises included with their training device. I've worked on these projects .
  2. Microburst at a low level.. Thats usually a very nasty instructor. But this is the real world...
  3. I have to agree with D Singh. Their products look so disappointing that I don't even bother to look for MH flights. I've flown over 200,000 miles in the past 2 years. Mostly with Sq and I've been very pleased even though I have to do a transit in Changi. I'm biting the bullet and flying MH tomorrow. It's going to either be a keeper, or I'm going to pass on them permanently... Unless.... There is change.... I'm in it one hundred percent for the cabin product. Nothing else.
  4. We've just transferred a Boeing full flight simulator to MIat recently. That's quite a serious move for them to have a simulator for training engineering students
  5. My personal opinion only : I flew CX last week. Definitely far from what I'd call ' great ' service. I never had issues with Singapore Airlines. Always found their service meeting expectations if not exceeding.
  6. i'm quite curious too how much it costs
  7. We do not allow this, but we don't have the time to look through all the time. In this case posting rights have been revoked until name is changed.
  8. love the picture of the ' box ' TK..
  9. Hate the fact that they bring you to a holding room with 2 rows of chairs, With little or no ventilation, and they make you wait there for a considerable amount of time [ wifi signal is dead there ]. Not only that, then when they open the doors to enter the bus all hell breaks loose. The carbon monoxide from the busses, the heat, the lack of a system for boarding. After having a long flight from North America and transitting there, it really stresses me out
  10. Went through Doha last week. And god I hate that airport so much..... It is fast becoming a reason why I will never choose Qatar again until things change .
  11. My receiver is as small as a USB stick.
  12. T-WMKK2 has a very powerful antenna I must say! If you are here, I'd love to know where you got your antenna from
  13. I usually travel with 2 laptops, 1 tablet , 1 camera , 2 lens , 2 external hard disks. gadgets alone will be 7kg's. nonetheless I believe they're only strict on certain sectors.
  14. You need to check some facts when it comes to this... MAS definitely stands to benefit from this training deal. MAS barely has any money for new simulators. The 737-800NG simulator is not owned by them either, and on top of that, they need 2 more, one of which has already arrived. Any idea how much 3 simulators cost with maintenance on them?
  15. it becomes a big issue when you have so many people removing their shoes on a long flight.. jeez.... the horror.. I once had someone sit next to me, didn't speak a word of english at all! couldn't even write his name on the arrival card.. He ate something like ' chau tau fu ' ... o m g .
  16. weather radar? I don't remember the requirements in the Minimum Equipment List, but didn't realise it is a no go item
  17. They need to do something about the cockpit ! urgently
